Conceptual Design Report. The requirements set forth in this preliminary project conference shall be confirmed with the preparation of a Conceptual Design Report prepared by the Architect and distributed to the Owner.
Conceptual Design Report. We will prepare a draft conceptual design report summarizing the findings and recommendations from Task 4. The conceptual design report will be used as the basis for the detailed design of the project. After incorporating input from the City and project team, we will finalize and publish the final conceptual design report.

Conceptual Design Report. Prepare a Conceptual Design Report: The consultant shall establish and indicate project specific design criteria and standards within the Conceptual Design Report. The consultant shall submit all design assumptions for pipe sections, water, sewer, and storm sewer locations, pavement sections, etc. The Conceptual Design Report shall evaluate and recommend pavement design, preliminary horizontal and vertical alignments for utilities, roadways, project phasing and limits, and other public improvements. Establish pipe sizes, lane configurations, drainage system capacity, complete water quality assessment, etc. Provide justification for the facility and analysis of alternatives. The project’s geotechnical report shall be included within the Conceptual Design Report and include soil classifications, N values, water levels, proctors, Xxxxx Avenue Reconstruction PROJECT NO. 20-2630 / CIP 51282 CBR’s, resistivity tests, pavement design, and testing recommendations. The Consultant shall elaborate on other project components as necessary. An opinion of probable construction cost for the project shall be included. A separate, conceptual (no design will be completed) cost estimate that contemplates the construction of an urban section will also be included. The costs shall be itemized based on the City’s standard bid items and appropriate contingency item allowance. The consultant shall establish and indicate project specific design criteria and standards within the Conceptual Design Report. Use the City Infrastructure Design Criteria Manual to establish design criteria and standards. The Conceptual Design Report shall provide review of compliance with City’s Standard Specifications for construction of the project. Identify the existing right-of-way (ROW) location and any ROW or easements necessary for the Project. Include size and extent of such ROW and easements and contact information of property owners. ROW will be acquired as necessary to achieve a 100 foot ROW width for the length of the project corridor. Identify all non-conforming water and sewer service lines and include a map showing a proposed solution to making them conform with the City’s current standards. Submit one (1) copy and a PDF version of the Conceptual Design Report and preliminary plans and specifications to City of Rapid City’s project manager for review and comment.

  • Site Plan It is Licensee’s responsibility before signing this Agreement to ensure that the Site Plan correctly shows the work that Licensee intends to perform, that the Site Plan correctly shows all improvements and equipment that Licensee intends be located on the Use Areas, that the Site Plan shows no work, improvements or equipment outside the Exclusive Areas and Shared Areas properly depicted and labeled on the Boundary Plan, and that all work, improvements and equipment is encompassed within the purposes enumerated in the Standard Terms for that particular Exclusive Area or Shared Area. Any work, improvements or equipment not conforming to all the foregoing is prohibited, even if it is clearly shown on the Site Plan or discussed in the Standard Terms. Any refinement or other change to the Site Plan after Licensor executes this Agreement is void unless Licensee obtains Licensee’s approval of the change pursuant to the plans approval processes set out in the Standard Terms and pursuant to all applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Preliminary Design Phase During the Preliminary Design Phase, the CONSULTANT shall, if requested by the CITY and accepted by the CONSULTANT as part of a Services Authorization:

  • Schematic Design Documents In accordance with the approved Preliminary Design and Construction Schedule and based upon approval of and comments made by the Owner regarding the Concept Design Studies, the Design Professional shall prepare and submit to the Owner Schematic Design Documents, including drawings and outline specifications. These documents shall represent a further development of the approved design concept, providing additional detail and specificity regarding the intended design solution. Typically, all such documents shall be drawn to scale, indicating materials and assemblies, as appropriate, to convey the design intent and to illustrate the Project’s basic elements, scale and relationship to the Site. All major pieces of furniture and equipment to be fixed or supplied by the CM/GC shall be illustrated to scale. (See ASTM Standard Practice E 1804-02, August 2007, Sections 6.3, 8.2 and 8.3 for guidance on information which is generally developed in Schematic Design.)

  • Final Design A.4.1. Provide OWNER with proposed final construction drawings and detailed opinions of probable total Project construction costs in writing for OWNER' s review, prior to completion of the final Contract Documents, so that any changes that may be necessary in accordance with Project' s budgetary schedule can be made prior to bid.

  • Site Description 2.5.1 If reasonably requested by the A/E as necessary for the Project, the Owner shall furnish a legal description and a certified land survey of the Site, giving, as applicable, grades and lines of streets, alleys, pavements and adjoining property; rights-of-way, restrictions, easements, encroachments, zoning, deed restrictions, boundaries and contours of the Site; locations, dimensions, and complete data pertaining to existing buildings, other improvements, and trees; and full information concerning available service and utility lines, both public and private, above and below grade, including inverts and depths.
