Consecutive Work Premium. (a) Subject to article 17.06 (a) and (b), all work performed on the eighth (8th) day and subsequent consecutive days of work shall be paid at double time. This clause shall not apply to those consecutive shifts in excess of seven (7) shifts worked at the request of the employee.

This employee's decision to receive time off must be conveyed to the supervisor within seventy-two (72) hours of the conclusion of the overtime. Should the time off not be given within sixty (60) calendar days, the employee shall receive pay at the appropriate overtime rate.   • Time Worked For purposes of computing the eight (8) hour day or the forty (40) hour week to determine entitlement to overtime pay, all sick leave, vacation leave, and holidays shall count as time worked to be added to other hours worked.

  • Training Premium Qualified Operators selected by the Employer to train new Operators shall be paid a training premium of 40¢ per hour while engaged in training work.

  • Cumulative Sick Leave 16.1 Employees covered by this collective agreement will carry forward their accumulated sick leave days from the predecessor school boards to a maximum of 280 days. Effective September 1, 1999 employees (other than temporary employees) shall be credited with two (2) days of sick leave for each month of active full time service to a yearly maximum of 20 days for ten month employees. Effective September 1, 2003 100% of the unused days each year are accumulated, to a possible sick leave total of three hundred (300) days. Sick leave days will be pro-rated for part-time employment.

  • Overtime Work A. Overtime pay is to be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the basic hourly straight-time rate.

  • Overtime Premium Employees shall be entitled to payment of time and one-half the employee's basic straight time hourly rate for all overtime work in excess of seven and one-half hours in a tour of duty or in excess of the average full-time hours of work over the period scheduled by the Hospital. Such period for this purpose shall not exceed two weeks. It is understood and acknowledged that the Hospital has the right to require employees to perform reasonable overtime work. Call-back shall not be considered as hours worked for purposes of this Article. Overtime premium will not be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall other premiums be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal work week and also as hours for which the overtime premium is paid. Overtime payment for hours worked will not apply as a result of the following:

  • Work Period The normal work period shall consist of forty (40) hours of work within a seven (7) day period or eighty (80) hours of work within a fourteen (14) day period.
