Credit for Previous Service. 7.2.1 Continuous employment in another NZ University or other tertiary educational institution will count as service for the purpose of calculating leave entitlements under this Agreement, provided the interval between prior service and employment by the employer does not exceed one month. Leave without pay does not break service but is not counted towards service based leave entitlements.

Credit for Previous Service. New and existing employees having previous comparable experience as determined by the Employer will commence employment at the start rate of their respective pay band. Upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period as defined in Article 3.01, the Employer will initiate the process to move the employee forward on the pay grid to an increment commensurate with their previous comparable experience. The employee will be paid retroactively at the increased pay increment rate for the probationary period with the exception of the first ten (10) working days, which will remain at the start rate. New employees shall receive written notification showing any credit granted for the previous experience. Credit for previous experience shall not be recognized by the Employer if the employee has been out of the industry for five (5) years, unless the Employer agrees to do so. The Employer shall be solely responsible for the application of this article but shall not act in an arbitrary or discriminatory manner in its application. Letter of Understanding #6 – Recognition of Prior Service in the Canadian Forces in the Calculation of Vacation Entitlement The parties agree to the following:
Credit for Previous Service. (i) A teacher may apply for credit for previous teaching service and shall be given credit based on full-time equivalent service. Full-time equivalent service means teaching service equivalent to full-time teaching service in recognized schools or in schools and early childhood centres certified or registered under the appropriate legislation in other States or Territories of the Commonwealth of Australia.
Credit for Previous Service. If a former employee of the bargaining unit returns to the service of the Town and completes at least five (5) years of continuous full-time service, that period of service immediately preceding the interruption of his work for the Town shall be added to the five (5) or more years of current full-time service to give total service for computation of vacation. Service in the Armed Forces shall not be considered an interruption of work for the purpose of computing total services credit for vacation purposes.
Credit for Previous Service. All full-time employees shall be credited with one year for every two years, or any part thereof, with prior credited full-time police service (i.e., Deputy Sheriff, Village Police Officer, etc.), up to a maximum of five years of such credited service, and shall be placed on the above Base Wage Schedule based on that service, and shall receive their increment based on their anniversary date (date of hire) including such service credit. The above is not applicable to the Town Law and transfers.

  • Continuous Service The Parties shall continue providing services to each other during the pendency of any dispute resolution procedure, and the Parties shall continue to perform their obligations (including making payments in accordance with Article IV, Section 4) in accordance with this Agreement.

  • Termination for Cause If Vendor fails to materially perform pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, TIPS shall provide written notice to Vendor specifying the default. If Vendor does not cure such default within thirty (30) days, TIPS may terminate this Agreement, in whole or in part, for cause. If TIPS terminates this Agreement for cause, and it is later determined that the termination for cause was wrongful, the termination shall automatically be converted to and treated as a termination for convenience.
