Dangerous Goods Allowance. Dangerous Goods Allowance is not payable except as provided in this Clause. If the Employee’s work frequently and routinely involves the transportation of bulk dangerous goods, as defined in the Australian Dangerous Goods Code, or in carting explosives in accordance with the Australian Explosives Code, they shall receive an allowance of $14.26 on each day that they perform such work. This allowance is not payable in respect of occasional journeys involving the ad hoc transportation of Dangerous Goods or explosives.

Dangerous Goods Allowance. (i) The Parties note that there is currently no Determination prescription for allowances relating to the transporting, by public road, of dangerous goods as defined in the Australian Dangerous Goods Code. (ii) Should the Determination be varied during the operation of this Agreement to insert a dangerous goods allowance for transporting, by public road, of dangerous goods as defined in the Australian Dangerous Goods Code, the Company undertakes to apply the prescription of the Determination, as it deals with work performed by the Company.
Dangerous Goods Allowance. Payment of the award allowance for carriage of Dangerous Goods will be made where quantities carried are at or above the placardable quantities provided for in the relevant Dangerous Goods Acts.

When the employee is engaged in the frequent and routine transportation, such as when part of an ongoing contract, of bulk dangerous goods or carting explosives in accordance with the Australian Explosives Code by public road they shall receive an allowance of $12.45 per day. Bulk Dangerous Goods are those goods defined as such in the Australian Dangerous Goods Code as amended from time to time. This allowance is not payable in respect of occasional journeys involving the ad hoc transportation of Dangerous Goods or explosives. 10.5.2. When the employee is engaged in the frequent and routine transportation, such as when part of an ongoing contract, of packaged dangerous goods which require placarding by public road they shall receive an allowance of $5.19 per day. Packaged goods which require placarding are those goods defined as such in the Australian Dangerous Goods Code as amended from time to time. This allowance is not payable in respect of occasional journeys involving the ad hoc transportation of Dangerous Goods or explosives.
Dangerous Goods Allowance. A Dangerous Goods allowance of $14.26 per day is paid to an employee in accordance with either of the following: ▪ the transport of bulk dangerous goods and/or carting explosives in conformity with the Australian explosives code by public road; or ▪ the transport of packaged dangerous goods which requires placarding by public road. Bulk Dangerous Goods and packaged goods which require placarding are those goods defined as such in the Australian Dangerous Goods Code as amended from time to time.
Dangerous Goods Allowance. Where an Employee is required to transport dangerous goods, they will be paid an allowance of $2.04 per hour. Dangerous goods are those goods defined as such in the Australian Dangerous Goods Code as amended or replaced from time to time.

Dangerous Goods Allowance. Consigning Declarations 41.1 A DHL permanent Employee who is required by the Company to consign and/or sign off on load plans for transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air (Air Dangerous Goods), Road (Road Dangerous Goods) or Sea (Sea Dangerous Goods) and is accredited to consign Dangerous Goods by IATA shall receive the below weekly allowance. Dangerous Goods by Air $24.27 Dangerous Goods by Road $13.36 Dangerous Goods by Sea $24.27 41.2 Failure to fulfil and meet the compliance requirements for Dangerous Goods (such as failure to meet Air Acceptance and Declaratory requirements or failure to have the most current IATA Regulation Booklet or maintain ADG requirements) will lead to the allowance being withdrawn by the Company. 41.3 An Employee that is no longer required to consign Dangerous Goods will be notified by the Company and payment of the applicable Dangerous Goods Allowance(s) will cease. 41.4 Dangerous Goods Allowances are not payable when an employee is on any type of leave (paid or unpaid). 41.5 Employees are not eligible to receive more than one type of Dangerous Goods Allowance. Where an employee, in a given week is required to consign/sign off on load plans for Dangerous Goods by different modes of transport, they will be eligible only to be paid the highest applicable Dangerous Goods Allowance. 41.6 An Employee that is required by the Company to consign Dangerous Goods/sign off on load plans (either Air Dangerous Goods or Road Dangerous Goods or both), for part of the time (such as part of the working week) will be paid the allowance on a pro rata basis based on five (5) working days in a week.
Dangerous Goods Allowance. (i) The Dangerous Goods Allowance will only be paid to warehouse employees working in a licensed Dangerous Goods facility as recognised by Westgate Logistics Pty Ltd. This allowance shall be paid for all hours worked. (ii) Warehouse employees working in a licensed Dangerous Goods facility will change to existing rates plus allowance where applicable on commencement of this Agreement. (i) The parties have agreed that in order to develop a more efficient and productive enterprise it is necessary to create a co-operative work environment and appropriate consultative mechanisms involving the company, the TWU and transport workers. (ii) It is a term of this agreement that the company shall allow delegates, employees and representatives of management to attend (with no loss of pay) a one-day training course run by the Company in conjunction with the TWU in relation to the implementation of : • This agreement; and • Subsequent enterprise agreements as are entered, from time to time as between the parties. (i) The company recognises the TWU as being the sole Union that shall represent employees. This representation will extend to all terms and conditions of engagement of employees engaged by the company, whether those terms and conditions are subject to this agreement or not. (ii) It is the policy of the company that it shall recommend that all of its employees shall join the TWU. This includes positively promoting union membership at the point of recruitment and strongly recommending that all employees who are members of the TWU remain members of the TWU. (iii) The company will not take any actions or make any statements that will directly or indirectly state or imply opposition by the company to employees electing to join or remain members of the TWU. (iv) The company agrees not to discriminate, discharge, lay-off or discipline any employee for reason (or for reasons that include the reason) that the employee joined, proposed to join or is a member of the TWU, signed an authorisation card or engaged in Union activity.
Dangerous Goods Allowance. Where an Employee engaged in the engineering supply chain operation is required to hold and maintain a Dangerous Goods License and perform work in accordance with this license, they will be paid an allowance per week as set out in Table 2 Appendix C.
