Days Earned. An employee who is in paid status for an entire school year will earn eleven (11) days sick leave per year. An employee who is in paid status for less than an entire school year will receive sick leave on a pro-rated basis.
Days Earned. Represented officers shall earn eight (8) hours per month sick leave, after thirty (30) days of employment, except in the case of unpaid leaves of absence and while on unpaid Family and Medical Leave.

Each employee shall be given sick leave credit of one day for each month's employment during the school year, i.e., ten (10) days if employed on a ten month basis (September 1 to June 30) and twelve (12) days if employed on a twelve month basis (July 1 to June 30). New employees are not eligible for sick leave during the first 90 days of employment. Xxxx leave is to be credited monthly and carried forward from year to year except as defined herein.

Sick leave with pay in excess of three (3) consecutive working days shall be allowed only after presenting a written statement from a physician certifying that the employee's condition prevented the employee from returning towork.
