Dispatcher. The dispatcher(s) function shall exist within the terminal with said position staffed during all times that regularly scheduled runs are operating. The person serving in this capacity shall be trained in the assignment of buses and drivers, the use of radio systems. Dispatcher (s) will maintain contact with the district until the last student is dropped off. The contractor shall provide the District with emergency contact information for issues arising from after hour runs, and on weekends. A contractor representative must be accessible when the district runs are scheduled to operate. The District shall have the right to require VENDOR to replace any dispatcher who does not have the qualifications to perform the job duties, or who is otherwise not reasonably acceptable to the District.
Dispatcher. The Bus Company shall employ and have on duty at all times while transportation is being provided under the terms of this Agreement at least one dispatcher able to support and/or coordinate the service being provided.
Dispatcher. The Board may appoint employees to dispatch bus drivers on regular, curricular and extra-curricular bus runs. The employee must be designated as dispatcher by the Board. The employee will be paid a premium of twenty-five cents ($.25) per hour for his regular hours in recognition of this responsibility.
Dispatcher. The above review may occur at any time during any Employee's probation period and will cover performance issues such as - proper use and treatment of Company equipment - work habits - attitude - willingness to work within Company policies. This new hire probation review is not intended to replace Management's rights to hire and terminate Employees. Rather, it is a consultative process designed to table all pertinent information regarding an Employee's performance to date, and facilitate any decisions Management may have to make regarding an Employee continuing employment with the Company. Management will have the final decision on retention or termination of probationary Employees. The objective is to eliminate sub-standard work performance at Adby branches. .
Dispatcher. Employees qualified in the dispatch software used to schedule the various custom runs, and, schedules incoming requests for custom service and dispatches same accordingly, eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week with consecutive days off. The Dispatch position may be shared with a driver or clerical position.
Dispatcher. The dispatcher is required to assess the need of snow removal duties. A minimum shift of one (1) hour shall apply for this duty.
Dispatcher. An employee employed in the bargaining unit by the Board to perform dispatching duties, (the duties and filling of the position will be consistent with past practice). Dispatcher. Section 1. Assignments for dispatcher shall be made from the approved dispatcher’s list, which will be annually updated by the Captain of Staff Services and approved by the Chief of Police. The Shift Commander will mark dispatch assignments at least one day in advance. Such assignments will be made based on dispatching abilities, maintaining dispatch skills for all designated dispatchers and training needs. The Chief of Police or his designee shall reserve the right to add or remove from the list any officer for proper reason.
Dispatcher. The Dispatcher shall be permitted to perform work outside of their own classification and covered under the Collective Agreement when it is necessary providing that they do not at any time displace a regular Employee/Dependent Contractor.
Dispatcher. To qualify as a lateral hire, a dispatcher, at the time of application must have no less than 43 one (1) year of full-time dispatch experience. The dispatcher must have prior dispatch experience of no less than 44 one (1) year of full-time (i.e., working not less than thirty-five hours per week) or no less than five (5) years of 45 part-time (i.e., working not less than an average of sixty hours per month in paid status) or the equivalent 46 combination as determined by the Safety Service Director.
