1. Employee Information
a. “Newly hired employee” or “new hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full time, part time, hired by the District, and who is still employed as of the date of the new orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the District and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article, only the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employee’s employee status changed such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.
b. The District shall provide CSEA with the contact information on the new hires. The information will be provided to CSEA electronically via a mutually agreeable secure FTP site or service, within 30 days of the date of hire or by the first pay period of the month following the date of hire. CSEA shall maintain the privacy of the employee information. This contact information shall include the following items on file with the District, with each field in its own column:
i. First Name;
ii. Middle initial;
iii. Last name;
iv. Suffix (e.g. Jr., III)
v. Job Title;
vi. Department;
vii. Primary worksite name;
viii. Work telephone number;
ix. Work Extension
x. Home Street address (incl. apartment #)
xi. City
xii. State xiii. ZIP Code (5 or 9 digits)

B. Employee Information

(2) The District shall provide CSEA with contact information on the new hires. The information will be provided to CSEA electronically via a mutually agreeable secure FTP site or service, within 30 days of hire or by the first pay period of the month following hire. 3.10.2 The District shall concurrently provide CSEA with the following employee information: full name, date of hire, employee identification number, classification and title, worksite location(s), work phone number, and work schedule. CSEA will maintain the privacy of the employee’s information.
3.10.3 Newly hired employee includes employees who have not been previously employed by the District and employees who are or have been previously employed by the District and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employee’s employee status changed such that the employee was placed in the bargaining unit.
District Notice to CSEA of New Hires a. The District shall provide CSEA notice of any newly hired employee, monthly, as specified in section 2. Section 1.a withstanding, The District shall adhere to the provisions outlined in the AB119 MOU language (Memorandum of Understanding: AB119 Agreement, signed 5/29/2018), unless otherwise negotiated in compliance with that MOU. That MOU shall remain in full force and effect from the date this MOU is signed, through June 30, 2022 and shall remain in effect until the negotiation of a new AB119 MOU is completed.
