DIVERSITY BUSINESS GOAL. The Diversity Business and Vendor Contract Compliance Programs shall make every good faith effort to ensure that certified diversity business enterprises in the Cleveland Metropolitan School’s relevant geographic market area shall be afforded the maximum opportunity to compete for contracts, services, and purchases. The general goals for diversity business participation are: 15% service, 20% goods and supplies, and 30% maintenance, construction/repair. Non-diversity vendors will have their diversity business participation counted toward their goal attainment only with minority vendors who are certified and demonstrate previous experience in the respective business classification of the prime contractor.   • Contract Goals A. For purposes of this procurement, OGS conducted a comprehensive search and determined that the Contract does not offer sufficient opportunities to set goals for participation by MWBEs as subcontractors, service providers, or suppliers to Contractor. Contractor is, however, encouraged to make every good faith effort to promote and assist the participation of MWBEs on this Contract for the provision of services and materials.
