DUES AND MEMBERSHIP. 7.01 Each Resident Physician shall, as a condition of their Letter of Engagement, authorize payroll deductions of an amount fixed from time to time by PARA. Deduction of dues shall include deductions on retroactive remuneration. 7.02 PARA shall advise AHS in writing thirty (30) days in advance of the establishment of, or change in, the amount to be deducted in Article 7.01. 7.03 AHS shall deduct the dues referred to in Article 7.01 in a manner consistent with AHS payroll procedure. The dues collected each month shall be forwarded to PARA within the first fifteen (15) days of the following month along with a list of Resident Physicians from whom dues deductions were made. 7.04 AHS shall report the total of dues paid to PARA in each calendar year for each Resident Physician, by way of Box 44 on the T4 slip, for income tax purposes. 7.05 The Faculties will supply PARA with lists of Resident Physicians, complete with names, training level, program, start date, funding source, home addresses, pager numbers, and email addresses. These lists shall be provided by July 7 of each year or the next business day if July 7 falls on Saturday or Sunday. The Faculties will supply PARA with lists of the Chief Resident Physicians (names and email addresses) as soon as possible, or in any event, to the extent that they are known by July 15th of each year. It is recognized that these lists will be incomplete and changes occur throughout the year. PARA shall be provided with any amendments to the original lists provided on a monthly basis. As well, PARA shall have access to either the AHS or each Faculty’s list upon one (1) day’s notice. 7.06 The Faculties shall provide to PARA the applicable dues for each Resident Physician identified under Article 4.01(b). The amount of dues shall be fifty (50) percent of the rate applied to Resident Physicians identified under Article 4.01(a). This amount shall be paid on an annual basis.

DUES AND MEMBERSHIP. Section 1. Upon receipt of a written authorization from a Police Officer, the City shall deduct from the Police Officer's pay the amount set forth by the Lodge per month for Lodge dues. It is understood that this provision shall provide for twenty-four (24) Lodge dues deductions per year. If the Police Officer has no earnings for that pay period, the Lodge shall be responsible for collecting said dues for that pay period. The City shall remit the deductions made to the designated Lodge official within seven (7) calendar days. The Lodge shall notify the City in writing of any change in Lodge membership at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the date the change becomes effective. The Lodge shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City against any claims made, or any suit instituted against the City on account of any Lodge dues paid in error. Nothing contained in the Agreement shall be deemed to prevent or prohibit a Police Officer, whether or not a member of the Lodge, from signing and submitting authorization for dues deductions from the Officer’s pay.
DUES AND MEMBERSHIP. 31.1 Management shall deduct monthly Federation dues from the paychecks of those employees who request in writing that such deductions be made. The amounts to be deducted shall be certified to Management by the Treasurer of the Federation. The Federation may change the authorized dues amounts by providing at least 60 calendar days notice to the College payroll office. 31.2 All employees shall, except as provided in 31.3, as a condition of employment, either become and remain members in good standing of the Federation or pay a monthly fair share fee in lieu of dues, commencing with the first full paycheck following the date of hire.

  • RECOGNITION AND MEMBERSHIP 16 Section 1.   • Professional Memberships Each employee is eligible for reimbursement for membership fees or dues paid for the maintenance of a license required to perform employee’s job and for dues paid for membership in one additional job related professional association.

  • Board Membership During the Employment Term, Executive will serve as a member of the Board, subject to any required Board and/or stockholder approval.

  • Negotiation and Mediation If either party serves written notice of a Dispute upon the other party (a “Dispute Notice”), the parties will first attempt to resolve the Dispute by direct discussions between representatives of the parties who have authority to settle the Dispute. In the event the Dispute is not resolved within 15 days by the initial representatives to whom the matter is referred, the Dispute will be escalated for resolution to the CFO of each party. If the parties agree, they may also attempt to resolve the Dispute through mediation administered by a mutually agreed upon mediator.

  • Maintenance of Membership Any employee who is a member in good standing, or is reinstated as a member of the Union shall as a condition of continued employment maintain such membership in good standing throughout the term of this Agreement.

  • Membership The Committee shall include nine (9) members - five (5) representatives from CUPE/SCFP and four (4) representatives from the CTA. Up to two (2) advisors from the Ministry of Education shall act in a resource capacity to the committee. Other persons may attend meetings in order to provide support and resources as mutually agreed. Up to one (1) representative from each of the four (4) employee bargaining agencies at the other education workers tables will be invited to participate on the Committee.

  • Memberships The Company will reimburse the Employee for one professional membership which has a business related purpose and is approved by the Company.

  • ARTISTES AND ATHLETES 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Articles 14 and 15, income derived by a resident of a Contracting State as an entertainer, such as a theatre, motion picture, radio or television artiste, or a musician, or as an athlete, from his personal activities as such exercised in the other Contracting State, may be taxed in that other Contracting State. 2. Where income in respect of personal activities exercised by an entertainer or an athlete in his capacity as such accrues not to the entertainer or athlete himself but to another person, that income may, notwithstanding the provisions of Articles 7, 14 and 15, be taxed in the Contracting State in which the activities of the entertainer or athlete are exercised. 3. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraphs 1 and 2, income derived by entertainers or athletes who are residents of a Contracting State from the activities exercised in the other Contracting State under a plan of cultural exchange between the Governments of both Contracting States shall be exempt from tax in that other Contracting State.

  • Personnel, Office Space, and Facilities of Manager The Manager at its own expense shall furnish or provide and pay the cost of such office space, office equipment, office personnel, and office services as the Manager requires in the performance of its investment advisory and other obligations under this Agreement.
