Educational Assistants and Instructional Assistants still unplaced after L15.01 (a) and (b) will be offered the remaining positions in order of seniority. (a) Successful applicants shall be placed in their position and shall be subject to the following trial periods: (i) thirty (30) days worked if the applicant has posted to a position within the same job classification; (ii) sixty (60) days worked if the applicant has posted to a position within a different job classification. (b) If the applicant proves satisfactory, in the new position, the applicant shall be confirmed in writing. The trial period may be extended by mutual consent of the Employer and the Union. (c) Notwithstanding the provisions in this Article, when a job classification in a specific location is changed from full-time to part-time the Employee affected by such change will be notified and given the opportunity to remain in the position and seek an additional part-time position in order to retain their full-time status. If there is more than one (1) Employee in the same job classification in that specific location the least senior Employee shall be affected. (d) Notwithstanding the provisions in this Article, when a job classification in a specific location is changed from part-time to full-time, part-time Employee(s) in that job classification in that location will be offered the full-time position by order of seniority. Should the Employee(s) not wish to accept the full-time position, the full-time position will be posted on the following posting date. (e) In all instances, the Employee must indicate their intention to the Employer verbally within two (2) working days of receipt of such notice. (f) If the successful applicant proves unsatisfactory to the Employer during the trial period, or if the Employee is unable to perform the duties or if the Employee finds the position unsuitable in the case of a new classification, the Employee will be returned to the Employee’s former position or another vacant position for which the Employee is qualified in the same job classification, at the Employee’s former salary or rate of pay as may any other Employee in the bargaining unit, who was promoted or transferred by reason of such placing. (g) If there is no such other vacant position in the same job classification and the former position has been filled, the Employee will displace the individual who was successful in bidding into that position.   • Educational Assistance Section 1. Tuition reimbursement shall be provided to employees covered by this collective bargaining AGREEMENT under the same terms and conditions, policies and procedures as the rest of Hennepin County and reflecting a county–wide pool for funding. See Hennepin County Tuition Reimbursement Policy Frequently Asked Questions Section 2. Where courses are required and certified by the appointing authority as essential to current job performance, such appointing authority shall grant 100% reimbursement for tuition, required fees and required study materials. Section 3. At the request of an employee, an Individual Development Plan shall be established. Any employee making the request shall be provided with paid time to work with their Supervisor or Human Resources to develop a training plan for career development within Hennepin County. Human Resources will be a source of career information, and postings, in which the employee may have an interest. Time allotted for this activity and the training plan adopted shall be subject to mutual agreement of the Employee and Supervisor.

  • Legal Assistance The Board shall give full support including legal and other assistance for any assault upon the employee while properly acting in the discharge of his/her duties.

  • Technical Assistance DFPS may provide informal support, guidance, clarification, and other forms of technical assistance via phone, email, and virtual meeting to resolve Grant or performance compliance issues. Grantee will document all such instances of technical assistance by DFPS in writing, including any implementation work.

  • Mutual Assistance The Parties will do all things reasonably necessary or appropriate to carry out the terms and provisions of this Agreement and to aid and assist each other in carrying out such terms and provisions.

  • Coronavirus Relief Fund – Rental Assistance Application The Coronavirus Relief Fund – Rental Assistance Application should contain all the necessary information to determine whether a Household is potentially eligible for CRF assistance. In accordance with the provisions of Sections 760.20-760.37, Fla. Stat., it is unlawful to discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, familial status, national origin, or handicap in the award application process for Eligible Housing. 1. At a minimum, an application for program assistance should contain the following items for each household member: a. The number of people residing in the household including name, age, relationship to head of household, current address and home phone number; b. Name and address of employer(s), work phone number(s), and position title with employer; c. Sources of income and a statement signed by all of the adults who reside in the household consenting to the disclosure of information for the purpose of verifying income for determining eligibility for program assistance; d. A signed statement indicating that the applicant understands that all information provided is subject to Florida’s public records laws; and e. A statement that it is a first-degree misdemeanor to falsify information for the purpose of obtaining assistance.

  • OPWC Financial Assistance Subject to the terms and conditions contained herein, the OPWC hereby agrees to provide to the Recipient financial assistance not to exceed the amount as set forth in Appendix C of this Agreement for the sole and express purpose of paying or reimbursing the costs certified to the OPWC under this Agreement for the completion of the Project (the "Funds").

  • Rental Assistance (Subsidy) Rental assistance will be provided to Eligible Households who pay 30% of their monthly net income, including Florida unemployment benefits, towards their monthly rent and have experienced a loss of job or income due to COVID-19.

  • Directory Assistance 72.1 The Parties acknowledge that CenturyLink is not a Directory Assistance (DA) provider. CenturyLink provides directory listings information for its subscribers to third party DA providers to be included in the national and local databases used by such third party providers. The Parties agree that to the extent the DA provider contracted by CLEC for DA services to CLEC’s subscribers also populates the national DA database, then CLEC’s DA listings have been made available to CenturyLink’s subscribers and no further effort is needed by either Party. If for any reason, CLEC desires that CenturyLink act as a middleman conduit for the placement of CLEC’s DA listings in the DA database(s), then CenturyLink shall provide such compensable DA listings service pursuant to separate written terms and conditions between CenturyLink and CLEC which will be attached to this Agreement as an Amendment.

  • Financial Assistance Subject to the terms and conditions contained herein, the Director hereby grants to the Recipient financial assistance, as established in this section, for the sole and express purpose of paying or reimbursing the eligible costs certified to the Director under this Agreement for the completion of the Project.
