EFFECT OF ABSENCE ON SICK LEAVE, VACATIONS AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. 20.01 Regular employees shall earn vacation, sick leave and statutory holidays while they are in receipt of paid sick leave, provided the absence from work with pay does not exceed six (6) consecutive months.
20.02 Regular employees shall not earn vacation, sick leave and statutory holidays while they are on:
(i) paid sick leave longer than six (6) consecutive months;
(ii) Long Term Disability Plan;
(iii) unpaid leave in excess of thirty (30) consecutive days (calculated from the first day of absence of the leave from work with statutory holiday entitlements determined by the Employment Standards Act);
(iv) Workers Compensation in excess of ninety (90) consecutive days.
EFFECT OF ABSENCE ON SICK LEAVE, VACATIONS AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. 22:01 Regular employees shall earn vacation, sick leave and statutory holidays while they are in receipt of paid sick leave (including Special Disability Fund), except the following:
(a) paid sick leave longer than five (5) consecutive months;
(b) Long Term Disability Plan;
(c) unpaid leave in excess of thirty (30) consecutive days, commencing first day of the leave;
(d) Workers' Compensation in excess of six (6) consecutive months;
EFFECT OF ABSENCE ON SICK LEAVE, VACATIONS AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. 23.01 Regular employees shall earn vacation, sick leave and statutory holidays while they are in receipt of paid sick leave (excluding Emergency Sick Leave Fund in excess of 21 consecutive working days).
23.02 Notwithstanding any other provisions of the Agreement, regular employees shall not earn vacation, sick leave and statutory holidays while they are on:
(i) Unpaid sick leave or unpaid leave for reason of health or disability in excess of sixty (60) consecutive calendar days;
(ii) Unpaid personal leave;
(iii) WorksafeBC Compensation in excess of sixty (60) consecutive calendar days.
EFFECT OF ABSENCE ON SICK LEAVE, VACATIONS AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. Employees shall earn vacation, sick leave and statutory holidays while they are in receipt of paid sick leave, provided the absence from work with pay does not exceed three (3) consecutive months.
EFFECT OF ABSENCE ON SICK LEAVE, VACATIONS AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. Caretakers shall not earn vacation, sick leave and statutory holidays while they are on:
(i) An unpaid leave of absence in excess of thirty (30) consecutive days
(ii) Worker’s Compensation in excess of ninety (90) consecutive days.
EFFECT OF ABSENCE ON SICK LEAVE, VACATIONS AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. (i) Regular jail guards or jail guard supervisors shall earn vacation, sick leave and statutory holidays while they are in receipt of paid sick leave, provided the absence from work with pay does not exceed six (6) consecutive months.
(ii) Regular jail guards or jail guard supervisors shall not earn vacation, sick leave and statutory holidays while they are on: Paid sick leave longer than six (6) consecutive months. Unpaid leave in excess of thirty (30) consecutive days (calculated from the first day of absence of the leave from work with statutory holiday entitlements determined by the Employment Standards Act). Workers’ Compensation in excess of ninety (90) consecutive days.
EFFECT OF ABSENCE ON SICK LEAVE, VACATIONS AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. (a) Regular full-time and regular part-time employees shall earn vacation, sick leave and Statutory Holidays while they are in receipt of paid sick leave, provided the absence from work does not exceed six (6) consecutive months.
(b) Regular full-time and regular part-time employees shall not earn vacation, sick leave and Statutory Holidays while they are on -
i. Paid sick leave longer than six (6) months.
ii. Long Term Disability Plan.
iii. Unpaid leave in excess of thirty (30) consecutive days.
iv. Workers' Compensation in excess of one hundred eighty (180) consecutive days v. Pregnancy/Paternal leave.
EFFECT OF ABSENCE ON SICK LEAVE, VACATIONS AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. Employees shall earn vacation, sick leave and statutory holidays while they are in receipt of paid sick leave, except the following:
(a) paid sick leave longer than one hundred and twenty (120) consecutive working days; (b) while in receipt of Long Term Disability benefits;
