Election of Members. The unanimous written election of the Members to dissolve the Company, made at any time and for any reason.
Election of Members. The affirmative election of the Executive Committee to dissolve the Company; or
Election of Members. Each member must reside in the town which she or he represents. Each member must be elected consistent with the process for the election of town officials in said town and will be elected to open seats during the annual election or a special election in said town. The term of each elected member will begin on the first business day after his or her election and after being sworn in by the respective Town Clerk. A member who has not otherwise vacated his or her seat will continue to serve until his or her successor is elected and sworn.

At every annual election, except at the initial election of the Regional School District Committee when the procedure specified below in subsection E (Initial Staggering of Terms) will be applied, there shall be elected one or two members of the Committee from the Town of Chatham and one or two members of the Committee from the Town of Harwich as is necessary to maintain the membership of the Committee in accordance with subsection A (Name and Composition) above.
Election of Members. In the election in each Faculty and in the Libraries, the candidate who receives the greatest number of votes shall be elected. In an election in a Faculty or in the Libraries, if two or more candidates receive the same highest number of votes, then the University Secretary shall select by lot from among the candidates with the same highest number of votes the candidate to be declared elected.
Election of Members. Members of the Committee shall be elected by the voters of the member towns at each member town's annual town election. At the next succeeding annual town elections of the member towns to be held in the year following the year in which this Agreement is accepted by the member towns, there shall be elected seven (7) members of the Committee, four (4) of whom shall be residents of and elected by Manchester and three (3) of whom shall be residents of and elected by Essex, as follows:
(1) One (1) member who is a resident of and elected by Manchester and one member who is a resident of and elected by Xxxxx, for a term of one (1) year;
(2) One (1) member who is a resident of and elected by Manchester and one member who is a resident of and elected by Xxxxx, for a term of two (2) years;
(3) Two (2) residents who are residents of and elected by Manchester and one member who is a resident of and elected by Xxxxx, for a term of three (3) years. A candidate for membership on the Committee shall file nomination papers for the particular Committee position with the term such candidate is seeking as set forth in subparagraphs (i), (ii) or (iii) set forth above with the Town Clerk of the member town in which such candidate resides within the time allowed by the General Laws relating to filing nomination papers for town elections. Following the expiration of the original terms set forth in subparagraphs (i), (ii) and (iii) above, all members will be elected for a term of three (3) years at all succeeding elections. Any registered voter of any member town may be a candidate and the method of his or her nomination shall be the same as if he or she were a candidate for elected town office in the member town in which he or she is a registered voter. Promptly after their election, members of the Committee shall be sworn to the faithful discharge of their duties by the Town Clerk of the town in which they reside and a record of such oath shall be made and kept by the Town Clerk and a copy thereof delivered to the Secretary of the Committee. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement to the contrary, on February first immediately following the official publication of the most recently conducted state or federal census, the Committee shall determine, on the basis of such census figures, the total population of each member town and the total population of the District. Election of Members. (1) In this section and any other provisions of this Act dealing with the election of members, if a district under the management and control of an Authority is not subdivided into electoral districts, a reference to an electoral district of an Authority must be read as a reference to the whole of the Authority's district.
(2) If the Minister in the Order constituting or restructuring an Authority provides for the election of any members of that Authority by persons who are enrolled on the voters' rolls for the electoral districts of the Authority, the Minister may, by that Order or by another Order, direct that the members must be elected as prescribed.
(3) Every person who is enrolled on a voters' roll under the Local Government Act 1989 for an electoral district of an Authority is, unless this Act or the regulations provide otherwise in relation to the particular Authority, entitled without application to be enrolled on the voters' roll for that electoral district.
(4) At an election of members of an Authority a person who is enrolled on the voters' roll for an electoral district of the Authority is entitled to one vote in respect of each electoral district of that Authority for which that person is enrolled.
(5) Subject to sub-section (6) and to any regulations made under sub-section (7), a person who is enrolled on the voters' roll for an electoral district of an Authority must vote at every election of members for the electoral district for which that person is enrolled.
(6) Sub-section (5) does not require an owner or occupier of a property whose principal place of residence is outside the electoral district for which the person is enrolled, to vote at an election of members in respect of that electoral district.
(7) The Governor in Council may make regulations for or with respect to the holding of elections for, and the filling of vacancies in, the offices of members including, but not limited to, regulations for or with respect to—
(a) enrolment for and voting at elections;
(b) the compilation of voters' rolls;
(c) the provision by an Authority of a copy of a voters' roll on payment of a fee of a specified amount;
(d) the date on which ordinary elections are to be held;
(e) the calling of nominations;
(f) requiring a refundable nomination fee of a specified amount to be paid by candidates;
(g) providing for pre-poll voting in person;
(h) providing for postal voting;
(i) providing for the registration of how-to-vote cards with the returning officer...
Election of Members. The written election of the Members holding at least 95% of the Investor Member Percentage Interests of the Company.
Election of Members. 1. Nominations for membership on the Committee shall be made in accordance with all the procedures prescribed by law for nomination of town officers voted on in the annual election by the town in which the nominee resides:
a. Each nomination petition or certified photocopy shall be presented to the respective registrar of voters of the town in which the candidate resides, and of each town in which any signer of the petition resides for certification of signatures, not later than 42 days prior to the date of the annual election. Each such candidate, or his or her representative, shall return the petition or photocopy with the certification of signatures appearing thereon to the town in which candidate resides 35 days prior to the date of the annual election. The clerk of each member town shall notify the Town Clerk(s) of all other member town(s), in writing, of the names and addresses of the qualified candidates as registered, and which candidates are running for re-election. This certification must be made to the Town Clerk in each town not later than 28 days prior to the date of said election.
b. In addition, any town caucus, primary election, or other nominating procedure may, but need not, place in nomination a candidate for any opening in the Committee, which candidate must satisfy the residency requirements stated above.
c. The Town Clerk of Xxxxx will inform the Town Clerk of Cheshire of the votes cast for each candidate running at large from Cheshire. The Town Clerk of Cheshire will inform the Town Clerk of Xxxxx of the votes cast for each candidate running at large from Xxxxx.
d. The Town Clerk of Xxxxx and the Town Clerk of Cheshire will determine the persons elected in the District-wide election by identifying the candidates who meet the respective resident requirement and earn the most votes. The Town Clerk of Xxxxx and the Town Clerk of Cheshire will certify to the District Secretary the person(s) elected and administer the oath of office to the person(s) who were elected.
