Eligibility and Qualifications. 35.03.2.1 To be eligible to apply for early retirement, a Faculty Member must be fifty-five or older at the time of the proposed retirement, have a minimum of ten yearsservice to the University and be at the maximum step allowed on the current salary scale.

The Evaluation Committee can recommend up to one percent (1%) of the members of the bargaining unit as applicants for Sabbatical Leaves per year for the duration of this contract. 2. The applicant must hold a valid life, continuing or permanent certificate issued by the State of Michigan. 3. The applicant must have seven (7) consecutive years of satisfactory service as a full time employee of the Utica Community Schools. Subsequent Sabbatical leave may be authorized after eligibility has been re- established by service of an additional seven (7) consecutive years. 5. A Sabbatical Leave may be granted for a period of not less than one (1) full semester nor more than two (2) full consecutive semesters. 6. A written agreement shall be filed with the Secretary of the Board stipulating that the applicant will remain in the service of the Utica Community Schools for a period of three (3) years after the expiration of said leave.

A Sabbatical Leave may be granted for a period of not less than one (1) full semester nor for more than two (2) full consecutive semesters. 6. The applicant signs an agreement to return to service with the Marysville Public Schools District immediately upon termination of Sabbatical Leave and to continue in such service for a period of one year (unless causes beyond his control prevent), or to refund any compensation received from the Board while on leave except as the Board shall, by special action, waive such obligation.

Applicant holds a Professional Certification and a Master's Degree b. Applicant must have seven (7) consecutive years of effective or highly effective service as a full-time employee in the Southgate School District. A leave of absence without pay, granted by the Board, shall not be deemed a break in continuity of service required by this section. c. A Sabbatical Leave may be granted for a period of not less than one (1) full semester or for more than two (2) full consecutive semesters. d. The applicant signs an Agreement to return to service with the Southgate Board of Education immediately upon termination of Sabbatical Leave and to continue in such service for a period of two (2) years (unless causes beyond the teacher's control.
Eligibility and Qualifications. Drivers who are qualified may bid on part-time Behind the Wheel Trainer positions in addition to their regular bid assignments. (d) A further requirement for eligibility is the filing of a written agreement with the Secretary of the Board stipulating the applicant for sabbatical leave will remain in the service of the Berkeley Heights school system for a period of two (2) years following the expiration of the sabbatical leave.
