Teachers as Substitutes. In the event a teacher is asked by the administration to substitute for another teacher, such teacher shall be provided the appropriate form and present it to the Principal's office or designee within three (3) days of the end of each semester. The teacher may choose one of the following options for credit:
Teachers as Substitutes. When the need arises for a teacher to be used as a substitute for another teacher during his/her prep time, the teacher will be compensated at the appropriate portion of a certified substitute rate.

The teachers on the list will be used on a rotating basis for purposes of substituting.
Teachers as Substitutes. The Board will pay $85 per day to a classroom teacher if called upon to substitute by doubling classes for a day, or if substitution involves less than a full day at the rate of $85 per day and $25 per hour. Any elementary teacher substituting in the areas of STEAM, art, music, or physical education or any teacher K-12 who substitutes or supervises another class during his/her planning period will be paid at the hourly rates as stated in the first sentence above. An inclusion specialist who is reassigned to cover classes for a day, for another teacher, will be paid a reassignment stipend of $42 per day.

Teachers as Substitutes. A. 1. A teacher who requires a substitute shall be responsible for scheduling a substitute through the Board approved substitute provider.

Teachers who voluntarily elect to forego their planning period/time and who substitute shall be paid the base hourly rate of one (1) hour for each period as a substitute. Teachers who request to leave early and have Principal's approval are to make arrangements with other staff members to cover their class for short term, partial day necessary leave.

Employees who agree to substitute for the principal shall be paid a prorated stipend of up to $50.00 per day in addition to their regular salary.
