Employee’s Training. The BOARD agrees to provide/send all UNION employees for training related to their jobs. The BOARD will pay the cost of the conference/training for each employee it enrolls and will release such employee from work without loss of pay or charge to the employee’s leave bank. (A) If an employee does not attend classes assigned s/he will not be paid and will not be allowed to go again. (B) Upon successful completion and submission of appropriate documentation, the BOARD agrees to reimburse the employee for the cost of tuition and necessary books for all training classes approved by the supervisor.

Employee’s Training. We keep regular employee training program for PMLA at our end and also Participation of all the Key Employees in the Seminars conducted by various Regulatory bodies from time to time, so that the Members of the staff are adequately trained in AML and CFT procedures. All the Circulars issued by various Regulatory bodies including that of PMLA, maybe circulated to all the staff Members and the same are also being discussed in length, in the Training Program‟. Training program shall have special emphasis on frontline staff, back office staff, compliance staff, risk management staff and staff dealing with new clients. It is crucial that all those concerned fully understand the rationale behind these directives, obligations and requirements, implement them consistently and are sensitive to the risks of their systems being misused by unscrupulous elements.
Employee’s Training. 7.1.1. The employer or an employee may propose training consistent with the organisational job requirements. Such a proposal will be considered in the light of organisational budgetary allowances. 7.1.2. Where it is agreed that training pursuant to clause 7.1.1 should be undertaken by an employee: a) That training may be undertaken either on or off the job. If the training is undertaken during ordinary working hours the employee concerned shall not suffer any loss of pay. The employer shall not unreasonably withhold such paid training leave; b) Any costs associated with standard fees for prescribed courses and prescribed textbooks (including those textbooks which are available in libraries) incurred in connection with the undertaking of training shall be reimbursed by the employer upon production of evidence of such expenditure. Provided that reimbursement shall also be on an annual basis subject to the presentation of reports of satisfactory progress, where the course is being undertaken at the initiative of the employee; c) Reasonable travel costs incurred by an employee undertaking training which exceed those normally incurred in travelling to and from work shall be reimbursed by the employer

(A) Employees classified as MAINTENANCE will be reimbursed for the actual cost of tuition, fees and books incurred for toward completion of a certificate program, which are part of a course of study approved by the Assistant Superintendent of Employee Services and the Director of Facilities and Transportation. Following completion of the certification program, the MAINTENANCE employee shall receive additional compensation of $1.00 per hour. The MAINTENANCE employee agrees that the entire costs for tuition, fees and books shall be forgiven at a rate one-third of the total cost per year for the next three (3) years. In the event that the MAINTENANCE employee leaves employment of the district prior to the three (3) year period, the MAINTENANCE employee shall pay any proportional costs remaining for tuition, fees and books paid by the district back to the district. (B) If an employee does not attend classes assigned s/he will not be paid and will not be allowed to go again. (C) Upon successful completion and submission of appropriate documentation, the BOARD agrees to reimburse the employee for the cost of tuition and necessary books for all training classes approved by the supervisor.

  • Job Training ‌ The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes: (1) for planning training programs for those employees affected by technological change; (2) for planning training programs to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation; (3) for planning training programs for those employees affected by new methods of operation; (4) for planning training programs in the area of general skill upgrading. Whenever necessary, this Committee shall seek the assistance of external training resources such as the Federal Human Resources Development Canada and Provincial Ministry of Labour, or other recognized training institutions.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Employment and Training Administration The ratio of trainees to journeymen on the job site shall not be greater than permitted under the plan approved by the Employment and Training Administration. Every trainee must be paid at not less than the rate specified in the approved program for the trainee's level of progress, expressed as a percentage of the journeyman hourly rate specified in the applicable wage determination. Trainees shall be paid fringe benefits in accordance with the provisions of the trainee program. If the trainee program does not mention fringe benefits, trainees shall be paid the full amount of fringe benefits listed on the wage determination unless the Administrator of the Wage and Hour Division determines that there is an apprenticeship program associated with the corresponding journeyman wage rate on the wage determination which provides for less than full fringe benefits for apprentices. Any employee listed on the payroll at a trainee rate who is not registered and participating in a training plan approved by the Employment and Training Administration shall be paid not less than the applicable wage rate on the wage determination for the classification of work actually performed. In addition, any trainee performing work on the job site in excess of the ratio permitted under the registered program shall be paid not less than the applicable wage rate on the wage determination for the work actually performed. In the event the Employment and Training Administration withdraws approval of a training program, the contractor will no longer be permitted to utilize trainees at less than the applicable predetermined rate for the work performed until an acceptable program is approved.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • APPRENTICES/TRAINEES 25.1 Apprentices/Trainees shall be entitled to all of the applicable rates and conditions of employment prescribed by this Agreement. 25.2 For clarification, in addition to the rates in APPENDIX 1, Trainees are entitled to receive full Daily Travel, XXXX, BEWT, CIPQ, Superannuation and any other entitlements in accordance with this document. Such entitlements shall not be paid at rates applicable to Apprentices. 25.3 Training arrangements for Apprentices/Trainees shall be as provided in the Building and Construction General On-site Award 2020. 25.4 Apprentices/Trainees shall be entitled to be paid the daily fares and travel allowance whilst attending training. 25.5 The Employer shall be responsible for meeting all costs associated with Apprenticeship/Traineeship training, including any student registration, tuition fee or other course costs. 25.6 During the first year of an Apprenticeship, tools to the minimum retail value of $600.00 shall be supplied by the Employer within a period of three months after the expiry of the probationary period or within a period of six months from the date of commencement of the employment, whichever first occurs. 25.7 During the second and subsequent years (or part of a year) of apprenticeship tools to the retail value of $600.00 shall be supplied by the Employer within a period of three months from the commencement date of each such year (or part of a year) of the indentured Apprenticeship. 25.8 Where an Apprentice has entered a Competency Based Training Agreement, the provision of tools will be on the following basis: (a) During the term of Apprenticeship, an Employer shall, in respect of each level of the apprenticeship program, supply the Apprentice with tools of trade, to a minimum retail value of $600.00. (b) The supply of tools of trade for each level of the program shall be linked to the successful achievement of competencies or, where appropriate, the demonstration of approved levels of progression towards the achievement of competencies as prescribed by the relevant National Training Package or in the relevant Award. (c) Supply of tools will occur no later than three (3) months after the expiry of the probationary period or within a period of six (6) months from the date of commencement of the employment, whichever first occurs, and no later than three (3) months into subsequent levels of the apprenticeship. (d) Apprentices employed under part-time or school based arrangements shall be entitled to a supply of tools consistent with the requirements as outlined in clause 25.6 and clause 25.7 above.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.

  • Employee Assistance Drug and alcohol counseling, rehabilitation, and employee assistance are available from or through the Employer’s employee assistance program provider(s) (E.A.P.).

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.
