Employment Insurance Rebates. ‌ 8.1 Pursuant to the applicable section(s) of The Employment Insurance Act, the Board shall pay to the PVTA a sum of money equal to 5/12 of the employment insurance premium reduction obtained on behalf of, and in respect to all STF members employed by the Board. 8.2 Such payment shall be made electronically to the PVTA account in the following manner: The first installment of the rebate for the months of January to June shall be remitted no later than September 1st and the final remittance for the months of September to December shall be no later than February 28th of the next calendar year. Notification of this deposit will be made to the PVTA treasurer by the PVSD Supervisor of Finance. Interest will be calculated on a daily basis at the preferred bank lending rate prevailing at the time for late payment.
