Expanded Staff Mobility. The parties agree to participate in a multi-union, multi-employer committee to discuss expanding the scope of the current staff mobility agreement in order to facilitate the movement of staff within and across the acute, long term, and community health care sectors as required to address systemic needs. The Collective Agreement does not contemplate two (2) classifications performing like duties, therefore it is the understanding of the parties that the following guidelines. Expanded Staff Mobility. The parties agree to participate in a multi-Union, multi-Employer committee to discuss expanding the scope of the current staff mobility agreement in order to facilitate the movement of staff within and across the acute, long term, and community health care sectors as required to address systemic needs. Retroactive pay will be paid on all paid hours to all employees working during the retroactivity period. Staff who do not currently work for the Employer are required to request such retroactivity pay in writing. Wherever possible retroactive pay will be made by separate deposit. In any emergency declared by the Facility or disaster declared by EMO, employees are required to perform duties as assigned notwithstanding any contrary provision in the Collective Agreement. Compensation for unusual working conditions related to such emergency or disaster will be provided in accordance with the Collective Agreement. Where overtime is worked by reason of a disaster plan exercise or fire drill, overtime will be paid in accordance with Article 13. The importance of disaster plan exercises and fire drills is mutually acknowledged by the Employer and the Union and, to this end, participation of all employees is encouraged. The parties acknowledge that in order to support the delivery of effective patient/resident care, it is necessary to have an adequate supply of trained employees. The parties acknowledge that availability of qualified employees may differ throughout the province and there may need to be consideration of unique regional challenges. Therefore the parties agree to establish a Provincial Facility Support Sector Advisory Committee with representation from the Employers and the Unions. Union representation shall be a maximum of six (6) business representatives or elected Union officials. The Committee shall meet quarterly, the purpose of which will be: • To identify classifications that are experiencing current or anticipated shortages of trained staff including, but not limited to, Health Care Aide, Sterile Processing Technician and Coding Technologist. • To identify training requirements in order to address current or anticipated shortages. • To recommend strategies to facilitate the availability and accessibility of training programs. • To consider other systemic staffing issues that may be raised by Committee members. • To present its findings and recommendations to the Regional Health Authorities of Manitoba (RHAM) prior to the expiration date of the ...

The parties acknowledge that availability of qualified employees may differ throughout the province and there may need to be consideration of unique regional challenges. The Provincial Facility Support Sector Advisory Committee will commence meeting within ninety (90) days of all Unions’ ratification of the 2008 negotiated agreement. The committee will determine process issues including the circumstances in which individuals including employees may be invited to present or share information with the Committee for its consideration. The Provincial Facility Support Sector Advisory Committee will be in existence for the duration of the Collective Agreement and will be extended if agreed to between the parties. For the continued maintenance of wage standardization, and to ensure the salary scales of Trades classifications as represented by MGEU maintain an appropriate relationship to salary scales of the same classifications represented by OEM, application of current and future wage adjustment will be as follows:

  • Configuration Management The Contractor shall maintain a configuration management program, which shall provide for the administrative and functional systems necessary for configuration identification, control, status accounting and reporting, to ensure configuration identity with the UCEU and associated cables produced by the Contractor. The Contractor shall maintain a Contractor approved Configuration Management Plan that complies with ANSI/EIA-649 2011. Notwithstanding ANSI/EIA-649 2011, the Contractor’s configuration management program shall comply with the VLS Configuration Management Plans, TL130-AD-PLN-010-VLS, and shall comply with the following:

  • PROMOTIONS AND STAFF CHANGES 11.01 Job Postings a) When a vacancy occurs or a new position is created for a regular position which the Employer has decided to fill it shall be posted on all bulletin boards for five (5) working days and filled within forty (40) working days of the posting closing. Positions may be advertised in the media only after the Employer has determined an internal applicant is not the successful applicant. Where the Employer decides not to fill a vacant position, the Employer will provide an explanation to the Union if so requested. b) The Employer, on a temporary basis, may fill a posted position during the posting and selection period. c) For temporary positions of up to forty-two (42) days, a posting is not required. Positions of longer than forty-two (42) days (seventy-eight (78) days only in the case of temporary aquatic program positions) shall be posted except where the vacancy is created by the absence of an Employee due to vacation. d) If a temporary position is made into a regular position, the new regular position shall be posted at least 14 days prior to the end of the temporary position. (i) A posting shall include the following information: Nature of position, qualifications, skills, required knowledge and education, current shift hours and days, number of hours of work per week, and wage rate. (ii) Such qualifications may not be established in an arbitrary or discriminatory manner, and shall reflect the contents of the Job Description. 11.02 Role of Seniority in Appointments, Promotions, Demotions and Transfers a) Both parties recognize the principle of promotion within the service of the Employer in the bargaining unit (i) For classifications required by their job description to supervise other employees in the bargaining unit listed in XXX#4, appointments, promotions, demotions, and transfers shall be based on the ability, knowledge, qualifications and seniority of the Regular Employees considered. Where the ability, qualifications and knowledge of the applicants are relatively equal, the senior applicant will be the successful candidate. (ii) For all other classifications, where the ability, qualifications and knowledge are sufficient to perform the functions of the posted position, the senior applicant shall be appointed. c) If the position is not filled by a Regular Employee in (i) or (ii) above, the ability and qualifications of Casual, Temporary and Seasonal Employees shall be considered, and if relatively equal, the senior applicant as determined in Article 10.05 shall be appointed. d) If the position is not filled by an Employee in b (i), (ii), or c) above, all other applicants shall be considered.

  • Staffing Plan The Board and the Association agree that optimum class size is an important aspect of the effective educational program. The Polk County School Staffing Plan shall be constructed each year according to the procedures set forth in Board Policy and, upon adoption, shall become Board Policy.

  • Surgery Services This plan covers surgery services to treat a disease or injury when: • the operation is not experimental or investigational, or cosmetic in nature; • the operation is being performed at the appropriate place of service; and • the physician is licensed to perform the surgery. This plan covers reconstructive surgery and procedures when the services are performed to relieve pain, or to correct or improve bodily function that is impaired as a result of: • a birth defect; • an accidental injury; • a disease; or • a previous covered surgical procedure. Functional indications for surgical correction do not include psychological, psychiatric or emotional reasons. This plan covers the procedures listed below to treat functional impairments. • abdominal wall surgery including panniculectomy (other than an abdominoplasty); • blepharoplasty and ptosis repair; • gastric bypass or gastric banding; • nasal reconstruction and septorhinoplasty; • orthognathic surgery including mandibular and maxillary osteotomy; • reduction mammoplasty; • removal of breast implants; • removal or treatment of proliferative vascular lesions and hemangiomas; • treatment of varicose veins; or • gynecomastia.

  • Connectivity User is solely responsible for providing and maintaining all necessary electronic communications with Exchange, including, wiring, computer hardware, software, communication line access, and networking devices.

  • Telemedicine Services This plan covers clinically appropriate telemedicine services when the service is provided via remote access through an on-line service or other interactive audio and video telecommunications system in accordance with R.I. General Law § 27-81-1. Clinically appropriate telemedicine services may be obtained from a network provider, and from our designated telemedicine service provider.   • IBM Credit may in its sole discretion from time to time decide the amount of credit IBM Credit extends to Customer, notwithstanding any prior course of conduct between IBM Credit and Customer. IBM Credit may combine all of its advances to make one debt owed by Customer.

  • Workstation/Laptop encryption All workstations and laptops that process and/or store DHCS PHI or PI must be encrypted using a FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm which is 128bit or higher, such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). The encryption solution must be full disk unless approved by the DHCS Information Security Office.

  • Interconnection Customer Provided Services The services provided by Interconnection Customer under this LGIA are set forth in Article 9.6 and Article 13.5. 1. Interconnection Customer shall be paid for such services in accordance with Article 11.6.

  • Cloud Services Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement or in the Order, Company grants Customer a limited, non-transferable, non-sublicenseable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to access and use the Number of Units of Cloud Services during the Term solely for internal business purposes in accordance with the applicable license restrictions stated in the Business Unit Terms, Order, and Documentation.
