Facility Representative. 8.11.1 The [head teacher/principal] of [each]/[the] Facility or such other member of staff of [a]/[the] Facility as the [head teacher/principal] may notify in advance to Project Co from time to time, shall undertake the role of a Facility representative (the "Facility Representative"), which Facility 12 Liaison procedures may be adopted where this is considered beneficial to a specific project. The role of the Liaison Committee should only be to make recommendations to the parties, which they may accept or reject in their complete discretion. Neither the Liaison Committee itself, nor the members acting in that capacity, should have the authority to vary any of the provisions of the Project Agreement or make any decision that is binding on the parties. Representative shall provide a day to day contact with Project Co for the routine operation of this Agreement. 8.11.2 Unless pursuant to a specific delegation under Clause 8.11.3 or otherwise specifically provided for in terms of this Agreement, the Facility Representative[s] shall have no power or authority to bind the Authority or vary the terms of this Agreement in any way and Project Co acknowledges that it shall not act on the instructions of or as a consequence of or otherwise rely upon any act or omission of a Facility Representative for the purposes of this Agreement unless under a specific [delegation issued pursuant to Clause 8.11.3 or otherwise specifically provided for in this Agreement]. 8.11.3 The Authority's Representative may from time to time by notice to Project Co in writing, delegate any of his powers, duties or responsibilities under this Agreement to a Facility Representative, subject to such terms and conditions, and for such duration as may be specified by the Authority's Representative.]

Facility Representative. When other qualified bargaining unit employees are available, Facility Representatives shall not be required to perform CIC duties.
Facility Representative. 3.7.1 The employees may elect one (1) Facility Representative per nurse aide shift. Such person shall be acceptable to the employees and the local Union. 3.7.2 The Facility Representative under the guidance and at the discretion of the local Union, shall only deal with a representative of the Employer designated to handle grievances. 3.7.3 The Facility Representative shall perform their functions outside of their working hours on their own time, unless the Employer, at his sole discretion, requires the Facility Representative’s presence during the Facility Representative’s regular shift. 3.7.4 The Facility Representative shall not direct any employee how to perform or not to perform his/her work, shall not countermand the order of any supervisor and shall not interfere with the normal operations of the Employer or any other employee. Activities as a Facility Representative shall in no way interfere with any assigned duties as an employee. 3.7.5 When the Employer intends to issue a written warning or to discharge or suspend an employee, the employee shall have the right to request the presence of either the Facility Representative or the Union Agent at any such disciplinary meeting. No employee shall be disciplined as a result of such a meeting where such employee was denied the presence of a Facility Representative or Union Agent unless, after making a good faith effort, the Employer is unable to secure representation. 3.7.6 The Union will inform the company in writing of the names of persons designated Facility Representatives.
Facility Representative. Subject to facility staffing requirements, the Facility Representative, either primary or alternate, may under normal circumstances be granted vacation leave or leave without pay to facilitate their attendance at scheduled Union seminars and conventions. Leave for these purposes shall not exceed ten (10) days per year.

  • City Representative The City will designate, prior to commencement of the work, its representative who shall make, within the scope of his or her authority, all necessary and proper decisions with reference to the services provided under this agreement. All requests concerning this agreement shall be directed to the City Representative.

The Designated Representative is the person or persons identified to Company by the Member during enrollment or after as the primary person who will be making decisions on behalf of the Member in the event the Member becomes incapacitated.

  • UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS 30.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the Co-operative for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. 30.02 The interview of an employee by a Union Representative shall be permitted, after notifying the General Manager or their designated representative, and shall be: (a) carried on in a place within the Co-operative's premises designated by management; (b) held whenever possible during the lunch period; however, if this is not practical; (c) held during the regular working hours; time taken for such interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on Co-operative time unless with the approval of management; (d) held at such times as will not interfere with service to the public.
