Fees and Dues. 1044 The annual dues payable to the FIDO Alliance by each class of Members shall be established and 1045 may be changed from time to time by resolution of the Board. Initial dues shall be due and 1046 payable upon the Member’s execution of the Membership Agreement and approval by the Board. 1047 Thereafter, yearly dues shall be due and payable as specified in the Schedule of Fees and Dues. If 1048 any Member is ninety (90) days delinquent in the payment of dues, such Member’s rights shall be 1049 deemed suspended upon written notice from the FIDO Alliance until all delinquent dues are paid.
Fees and Dues. The annual dues payable to the Association by each class of Members will be established and may be changed from time to time by resolution of the Board. The Association may establish from time to time additional fees for Members with representatives serving on the Board. Initial dues will be due and payable upon written commitment to join the Association. Thereafter, yearly dues will be due and payable as specified in the member agreement or any other Organizational Document or on the invoice. If any Member is delinquent in the payment of dues, such Member’s rights will be deemed suspended upon written notice from the Association until all delinquent dues are paid and the Board may expel the Member according to the Articles.
Fees and Dues. The annual dues payable to the Corporation by each class of Members shall be established and may be changed from time to time by resolution of the Board. Dues shall be due and payable upon confirmation of admission to Membership by the Corporation. The Corporation shall operate on a not-for-profit basis. However, annual dues and other special fees may be levied by the Board of Directors to offset expenses. These dues and fees shall be used to support the activities of the Corporation, including administrative costs (including expenses related to managerial expenses, meetings, travel costs, legal fees, web site development and maintenance), promotional expenses and any other purposes that are approved by the Board.

A. Fees and Dues
1. Each permanent employee in this Unit (who is not on a leave of absence) may become a dues paying member of this Unit. Such amounts shall be determined by the Association and implemented by Management in the first payroll period which starts 30 days after written notice of the new amount is received by the Office of the Controller. For the purpose of this provision, a permanent employee is defined as one who has completed six continuous months of City service from their original date of appointment and who is a member of the Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System (“LACERS”).
2. Notwithstanding any provisions of LAAC Section 4.203 (Authorization For Certain Deductions) to the contrary, during the term of this MOU, payroll deductions requested by employees in this Unit for the purpose of becoming a member and/or to obtain benefits offered by any qualified organization other than the Association will not be accepted by the City Controller. For the purpose of this provision, qualified organization means any organization of employees whose responsibility or goal is to represent employees in the City's meet and confer process.
3. The Association shall notify all members of the Unit that they are eligible for membership in the Association and that upon providing the Association consent, dues amounts will be automatically deducted from their paychecks. The cost of this communication and the responsibility for its distribution shall be borne by the Association.
B. Management Responsibilities
1. The City Controller shall cause the amount of the fees or dues to be deducted from 24 biweekly payroll checks of each employee in this Unit as specified by the Association under the terms contained herein. "Dues" shall be the result of voluntary consent in the form of a signed authorization that will be maintained by the Association.

All members who wish to use payroll deduction plan, which may not be terminated until after a one year commitment, must fill out the Salary Reduction Agreement information required.
