Filing of a Grievance. A grievance may be filed conjointly by an individual member of the bargaining unit and by an authorized representative of the Association with the consent of the individual. Group grievances which have department-, School-/College-, division-, or bargaining-unit-wide effect may be filed by the Association at the appropriate step of the procedure provided that no grievance may be initiated at Step Two, unless specifically provided for elsewhere in this Agreement.‌

Filing of a Grievance. The party submitting the grievance will send an e-mail 15 that has an attached grievance, which shall include a description of the grievance, dates 16 of occurrence, name of the group involved (if applicable), and the requested remedy. 17
Filing of a Grievance. (a) A grievance must be filed with the Office of Academic Affairs on the form shown in Appendix “C” no later than fifteen (15) days following the date of the Office of Academic Affairs’ notification to the grievant and the UFF that informal resolution was not possible. Compliance with the fifteen (15) day period shall be evidenced by the recorded date on which the grievance was received by the Office of Academic Affairs. (b) The grievant may amend the Appendix “C” form one time up to and including the Grievance Hearing so long as the factual basis of the complaint is not materially altered. However, only those acts or omissions identified in the initial or amended Appendix “C” form may be considered at arbitration. (c) The filing of a grievance constitutes a waiver of any rights to judicial review of agency action pursuant to Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, or to the review of such actions under other University procedures that may otherwise be available to address such matters.

Filing of a Grievance. A valid filing of a grievance will be submitted in writing within twenty (20) days of the date the grievant knew or should have known of the act or event which forms the basis of the grievance. The grievance form will be submitted to the Level I immediate supervisor with a copy to the Executive Director of Human Resources. Filing of a Grievance. Step One: Submitting a written grievance Grievances shall be reduced to writing at the first step. The written grievance shall be submitted to the Director within twenty (20) calendar days of the event which gives rise to the grievance or within twenty (20) calendar days from the date which, through the use of reasonable diligence, the party should have been aware of the grievance. Within five (5) working days of receipt of the written grievance, the Director shall meet with the grievant and his or her representative, if desired by the grievant, in an attempt to resolve the dispute. The Director shall have ten (10) calendar days from the date of this meeting to issue a written response to the grievance.

  • Processing of a Grievance It is recognized and accepted by the Union and the Employer that the processing of grievances as hereinafter provided is limited by the job duties and responsibilities of the employees and shall therefore be accomplished during normal working hours only when consistent with such employee duties and responsibilities. The aggrieved employee and a Union representative shall be allowed a reasonable amount of time without loss of pay when a grievance is investigated and presented to the Employer during normal working hours provided that the employee and the Union representative have notified and received the approval of the designated supervisor who has determined that such absence is reasonable and would not be detrimental to the work programs of the Employer.
