Flight Pay. Any employee in the Bargaining Unit shall receive a bonus for all time spent in flying required in the performance of their duties at the rate of five dollars ($5.00) per hour. Flight time shall be computed from the time of take-off to the time of landing. Bonus shall not be payable for ferry or other flights. During bonus flights the Company will provide life insurance coverage in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) per employee.

Flight Pay. A. Those members of the Department who are authorized to fly the Department’s aircraft and who are additionally designated as a “Primary Pilot” will receive approximately 11.5% of employee’s base pay as special assignment pay. During the term of this MOU, there will be no less than two primary pilots. Effective the first full pay period in Fiscal Year 2019, Primary Pilot’s special assignment pay shall increase to 15% of employee’s base pay. B. Effective July 1, 2024, or the first full pay period following City Council approval of this MOU, whichever is later, the City will provide up to $15,000 tuition reimbursement for Tactical Flight Officer’s (TFOs) who are actively working towards their pilot’s license as a prerequisite to become an Airborne Law Enforcement (“ABLE”) Pilot. This tuition reimbursement is subject to the conditions set forth in Administrative Regulations 70.30. This tuition reimbursement is in addition to any tuition reimbursement available under Article 39 of this MOU. Total tuition reimbursement under these two Articles is $17,000 per fiscal year. Under Article 39, there is no guarantee that the Department will subsequently hire a TFO who is pursuing a pilot’s license as an ABLE Pilot. C. Effective the first full pay period in Fiscal Year 2019, TFOs will receive specialty pay equal to 5% of employee’s base pay. D. Effective the first full pay period in Fiscal Year 2019, Sergeants assigned to the unit who are receiving neither TFO specialty pay nor Primary Pilots pay will receive 5% Administrative Assignment Pay. E. Any officer relieving a primary pilot will also receive flight pay for the period served in that capacity. F. Air Support Trainers will receive approximately 3.5% of employee’s base pay. G. The cost of the required FAA pilot physical will be reimbursed by City. H. Effective July 1, 2024, or the first full pay period following City Council approval of this MOU, whichever is later, Certified Flight Instructors will receive additional compensation of 3.5% of base pay. This add-on pay applies only to employees assigned to provide flight training by the Police Chief or designee and is limited to four employees at any one time.

  • Mileage Allowance The state agrees to seek continued funding to provide for the payment of a mileage allowance for the use of privately owned vehicles for official travel at the rate provided in section 112.061(7)(d)1., F.S.

  • Longevity Pay If an employee leaves State Classified employment and later is rehired, he/she shall receive no longevity pay. However, once such a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for longevity pay. The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received. (See Article 22, Section Q.)

  • Night Premium For all time worked by employees, after 7 p.m. and before 7 a.m., by employees hired on or before August 5, 2005, a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour shall be paid.

  • Travel Pay Any employee required by the Employer to travel to a place of work other than his/her regular official duty station shall be reimbursed for travel costs, if eligible, in accordance with University policy.

  • Mileage Any employee in the bargaining unit required to use his/her vehicle on District business shall be reimbursed at the per mile rate allowed by the IRS. The mileage computation shall include mileage necessary to return to the employee's normal job site after completion of District business. This amount shall be payable in a separate warrant drawn against District funds within thirty (30) working days of submission of the claim by the employee in the bargaining unit.

  • Fares and Travel Allowance All Employees shall be entitled to receive the fares and travel allowance as follows:

  • Vacation Pay Paid Union leaves. All other payments, premiums, allowances etc. are excluded.

  • Flight Crew (a) Lessor shall employ or engage and pay all salaries, benefits and and/or compensation for a fully-qualified flight crew with appropriate credentials to conduct each flight undertaken under this Agreement. Lessor may use temporary flight crewmembers for a flight under this Agreement only if any such temporary crewmember is FlightSafety (or SimuFlite) trained, is current on the Aircraft and satisfies all of the requirements and conditions under the insurance coverage for the Aircraft. All flight crewmembers shall be included on any insurance policies that Lessor is required to maintain hereunder. (b) The qualified flight crew provided by Lessor shall exercise all of its duties and responsibilities with regard to the safety of each flight conducted hereunder in accordance with applicable FAR’s. The Aircraft shall be operated under the standards and policies established by Lessor. Final authority to initiate or terminate each flight, and otherwise to decide all matters relating to the safety of any given flight or requested flight, shall rest with the pilot-in-command of that flight. The flight crew may, in its sole discretion, terminate any flight, refuse to commence any flight, or take any other action that, in the judgment of the pilot-in-command, is necessitated by considerations of safety. No such termination or refusal to commence by the pilot-in-command shall create or support any liability for loss, injury, damage or delay in favor of Lessee or any other person. Lessor shall not be liable to Lessee or any other person for loss, injury or damage occasioned by the delay or failure to furnish the Aircraft and flight crew pursuant to this Agreement for any reason.

  • Part-time Vacation Pay If the Employer currently has the computer systems’ capability to implement bi- weekly vacation pay, they shall do so by the start of the next vacation year or earlier. Those Employers with no computer capability will endeavour to implement bi- weekly vacation pay if there is no significant administrative burden, by the start of the next vacation year or earlier. If the Employer does not so implement, it will provide reasons in writing to the Union. Where possible without extensive programming changes, the amount of vacation pay will be separately identified on the pay stub.

  • Overtime and Premium Pay A nurse shall be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the nurse’s regular hourly rate of pay for all hours worked in any one category listed below, including statutory overtime pay under 9.4.1 or premium pay under 9.4.2 through
