Administrative Assignment Pay. 28.1 Members assigned by the Chief of the Department from the field to a forty (40) hour work week to perform administrative assignments as determined by the Chief of the Department will receive additional compensation of $175 biweekly.

Administrative Assignment Pay. Employees designated to perform Special Assignment duties by the Fire Chief or their sworn designee, as specified in the Huntington Beach Fire Department Organization Manual Policy D-25, shall be paid a special pay of 5.34% of the base hourly rate of Firefighter 56-hour Step G for each hour worked. The parties agree that to the extent permitted by law, Administrative Assignment Pay is special compensation and shall be reported as such pursuant to Title 2 CCR, Section 571(a)(4) Fire Staff Premium.

  • Acting Assignment Pay 181. Employees assigned by the Appointing Officer or its designee to perform a substantial portion of the duties and responsibilities of a higher classification shall receive compensation at a higher salary if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Special Assignment Pay Assignments eligible for special assignment pay include any Officer or Sergeant assigned as an investigator or detective to the Criminal Investigations Unit, Narcotic=s Unit, a Team Detective, or any other assignment so designated by the Department Head. Limited duty assignments or assignments of less than 90 days are excluded from receiving special assignment pay. If while serving in the positions covered by this section the task/job is moved to another team/unit, the officer assigned will continue to receive special assignment pay only while performing the same job/task. If he leaves the position without serving a full month, the pay will be allocated as follows: fifty dollars ($ 50.00) if leaving between the 1st and 15th day inclusive, and one hundred dollars ($ 100.00) if leaving between the 16th day and last day of the month inclusive. This Article does not preclude short term assignments up to ninety (90) calendar days without receiving special pay, nor does it entitle the person assigned, on a short term basis, to clothing allowance. Clothing allowance will be paid to all personnel, assigned by order and not working in uniform, during the time they are receiving special assignment pay. Assignments due to sickness, injury, or medical disability are not eligible for any benefit described in this Section.

  • Overtime Assignment A. In institutional settings when the Agency determines that overtime is necessary, overtime shall be offered on a rotating basis, to the qualified employees who usually work the shift where the opportunity occurs. If no qualified employees on the shift desire to work the overtime, it will be offered on a rotating basis first to the qualified employee with the most state seniority at the work site. When there are no volunteers to work the overtime as outlined above, and/or where an emergency exists, reasonable overtime hours may be required by the Agency. Such overtime shall be assigned, on a rotating basis, first to the qualified employee with the least state seniority at the work site. This policy shall not apply to overtime work which is specific to a particular employee’s claim load or specialized work assignment or when the incumbent is required to finish a work assignment.

  • Assignment of Account We may sell, assign, pledge or transfer this Agreement (including any addendum to this Agreement), your account or an interest in your account to a third party without notice to you. In the absence of a notice of such sale or transfer, you must continue to make all required payments to us in accordance with your billing statement.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.
