Fringe Benefit Payments. The Employer agrees to contribute every month, not later than the 15th of the following month, such sums for Pension, Health and Welfare, Vacation, Apprenticeship (the "Fringe Benefit Funds") as they are established in this Agreement, an amount for each hour worked by all employees covered by this Agreement. Each payment shall be accompanied by a report in a form as specified by the Trustees. The Funds' Trustees shall equally represent the Union and the Employer. The terms of the Trust Agreement establishing those Funds are hereby incorporated as a part hereof.
Fringe Benefit Payments. Section 14.01. Any Employer who fails to make fringe benefit payments as required shall be subject to having this Agreement terminated upon seventy-two (72) hours’ notice, in writing, being served by the Union, provided the individual Employer fails to show satisfactory proof that the required payments have been made. In addition, if suit is instituted to collect any delinquent payment, the Employer shall also be liable for such interest, damages, attorneys’ fees and costs as provided for by law.
Fringe Benefit Payments. For all Journeymen and Apprentices covered by this Agreement, Workmen’s Compensation, contributions or deductions for plans, programs or funds, for Union dues, pensions, health and welfare, training, vacation and holidays, supplemental unemployment benefits, sick pay, severance pay, contract administration and industry promotion, shall be in accordance with the established Local Union or District Council Master Agreement, not to exceed the provisions of this Agreement, and shall be paid to the appropriate Boards of Trustees or established depository. The terms of a sick leave ordinance for the State of California and any municipality or government entity will follow the MLA/CBA of the member's Local Union.
Fringe Benefit Payments. The Board of Education shall establish and maintain a group health insurance plan for U.S.D. 409 teachers covered by this Agreement. The Board of Education shall pay an amount of $412.99 per month toward the purchase of a single health insurance membership for each teacher, according to eligibility under ACA and per the terms of the health insurance carrier, toward the monthly premium for a single health insurance policy. If the premium for the single health insurance membership is less than $412.99, the difference shall be deposited into the employee’s HSA/FSA account based on eligibility requirements. As long as the Board of Education pays 100% of the full single health insurance premium, participation in the district’s group health insurance plan shall be required of all teachers. However, if the current health insurance carrier allows a waiver of participation in the health insurance policy, then a USD 409 teacher may elect not to participate in the health insurance policy provided by the District, in accordance with the terms of the health insurance policy. In the event that the health insurance policy in place with USD 409 requires a minimum participation, then the requests for waivers of participation will be granted on a first-come first-serve basis. (Revised: 2014-15) The Health Insurance Task Force, a district-wide committee (see Article II, H), shall provide input to the Board in the selection of the health insurance carrier and the benefits to be provided. The health insurance contribution by the Board of Education shall be a “defined benefit” to be used toward the purchase of the district health insurance plan. A teacher retiring through KPERS has the option to continue health insurance coverage through the district’s health insurance program to age 65. If a retiring teacher accepts another position that provides health insurance coverage, their enrollment in the U.S.D. 409 health insurance plan would be discontinued at the first eligible opportunity to obtain coverage with the new position. This plan will be in effect as long as the duration of the agreement unless an agency of the government declares it invalid.
