H oliday Pay. When any one of the above mentioned holidays falls within or is observed during the work week (Monday through Friday) mechanics, bodymen, painters, appren­ tices and semi-skilled workers working on incen­ tive basis will be paid eight ( 8 ) times the guar­ xxxxx hourly rate for their respective classification for that day. Also, mechanics, bodymen, painters, apprentices and semi-skilled workers regularly employed on an hourly rate, holiday pay shall be computed on the basis of eight ( 8 ) times their respective guarantee hourly rates, provided, how­ ever, that the employee works his scheduled work day Monday through Friday immediately before and immediately after each such holiday respec­ tively unless excused by the Dealer. Holiday pay shall be added to their reduced guarantees as defined in Article IV, Section 7. This holiday pay shall not be used to make up such guarantee. H oliday Pay. An employee who is regularly scheduled and required to work any portion of the holiday listed in Section 14.1 of this Article shall be paid an additional half-time hourly rate at the applicable hourly rate of pay for the actual holiday hours worked. Remaining hours worked during a shift that are not actual holiday hours will be paid at the employee’s applicable hourly rate of pay. An employee regularly scheduled and working the largest segment of the “actual” holiday on Good Friday shall be paid an additional half-time hourly rate of pay for eight and one-half hours at the applicable hourly rate of pay.
H oliday Pay. The amount of holiday pay to which an employee is entitled is all of the regular wages earned by the employee in the four work weeks before the work week with the holiday plus all of the vacation pay payable to the employee with respect to the four work weeks before the work week with the holiday, divided by twenty.

  • Holiday Pay A. On each of the holidays designated above, each full-time employee scheduled to work but permitted to take the day off shall receive pay computed at the employee's basic hourly rate for the number of hours the employee was regularly scheduled to work.

  • Statutory Holiday Pay Employees who qualify for statutory holiday pay shall be paid an average day's pay on the Statutory Holidays above, based on the following: amount paid / days worked. “Amount paid” is the amount earned by the employee for work done during the thirty (30) calendars day period preceding the statutory holiday, including vacation pay but excluding overtime pay. “Days worked” is the number of days the employee worked or earned wages during that thirty (30) calendar day period.

  • Paid Holiday Pay Payment for holidays will be made at an employee’s basic pay, except if an employee has been working in a higher paid position than her regular position for a majority of the sixty (60) working days preceding her holiday, in which case she shall receive the higher pay.

  • Holiday Payment 4.1 Where an employee works on a holiday specified in Article 47 (Holidays) and opts for compensating leave under Article UN13.2 or COR13.2, he or she may elect, at that time, to receive, in addition to his or her entitlement under Article UN13.2 or COR13.2, further leave equal to the difference between the number of hours in the employee’s normal work day and his or her entitlement under Article UN13.2

  • Holiday Premium Pay A Nurse working on a recognized Holiday is entitled to the following compensation for any hours worked on the calendar date of the recognized Holiday:

  • Holiday Premium If an employee works one of the following holidays, they will receive time and one half for all hours worked on that holiday: New Year’s Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xx. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, the Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

  • OVERTIME AND HOLIDAY PAY 5.3.1 All hours worked by an employee in excess of eight (8) hours per shift and in excess of forty (40) straight time hours per week shall be paid for at the rate of one and one-half times the straight time rate. All hours worked by an employee in excess of ten (10) hours per shift and all hours worked on Sunday shall be paid at the rate of double the straight time rate.

  • HOLIDAYS AND HOLIDAY PAY 117. A holiday is calculated based on an eight (8) hour day. The following days are designated as holidays:

  • Holiday Week In the event that a holiday is celebrated during the week (Monday through Friday), the remaining four days of the week may be worked as a four ten shift at the straight time rate on a voluntary basis with three (3) days’ notice to the Union. In the event the job is down due to weather conditions, then Saturday may, at the option of the Employer be worked as a voluntary make-up day at the straight time rate.

  • Holiday Overtime An employee required to work on any of the above-named holidays will be paid holiday pay plus payment for the number of hours worked at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) his regular straight time rate of pay.
