HOLIDAY PREMIUM PAY – HOLIDAYS WORKED. Employees who are assigned to work for approved client hours on one of the holidays above shall be paid one and one-half times (1.5X) their regular rate of pay for all hours worked on the holidays. If an employee is not assigned to work and does not work on the holiday, the employee shall not be paid the holiday premium pay.

HOLIDAY PREMIUM PAY – HOLIDAYS WORKED. Eligible employees who work on one of the company recognized holiday dates shall be paid two times (2X) their regular rate of pay for all hours worked on the company recognized holiday dates. If an eligible employee (as defined in Article 6 - Definitions) is not assigned to work and does not work on the holiday, s/he shall be paid at their regular rate of pay for eight (8) hours, as determined by the employee’s regular schedule. In order to be eligible for Holiday pay, employees shall be required to work their scheduled shifts before and after a scheduled holiday, unless their absence has been pre-approved. If a full-time employee is on approved PTO and a holiday occurs during the scheduled PTO, the holiday will be used instead of the accrued PTO leave.

  • Holiday Premium Pay A Nurse working on a recognized Holiday is entitled to the following compensation for any hours worked on the calendar date of the recognized Holiday:

  • Premium Holidays If the employer receives a premium holiday(s), the employees shall not be required to pay their portion of the premium(s) for the holiday month(s).

  • Holiday Worked In addition to Subsection A above, employees will be compensated for the hours actually worked on a holiday at the overtime rate, in accordance with Article 17, Overtime.

  • Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.

  • Holiday Premium If an employee works one of the following holidays, they will receive time and one half for all hours worked on that holiday: New Year’s Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xx. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, the Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • Paid Holiday Pay Payment for holidays will be made at an employee’s basic pay, except if an employee has been working in a higher paid position than her regular position for a majority of the sixty (60) working days preceding her holiday, in which case she shall receive the higher pay.

  • Holiday Week In the event that a holiday is celebrated during the week (Monday through Friday), the remaining four days of the week may be worked as a four ten shift at the straight time rate on a voluntary basis with three (3) days’ notice to the Union. In the event the job is down due to weather conditions, then Saturday may, at the option of the Employer be worked as a voluntary make-up day at the straight time rate.

  • Holiday Overtime An employee required to work on any of the above-named holidays will be paid holiday pay plus payment for the number of hours worked at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) his regular straight time rate of pay.

  • Holiday Pay A. On each of the holidays designated above, each full-time employee scheduled to work but permitted to take the day off shall receive pay computed at the employee's basic hourly rate for the number of hours the employee was regularly scheduled to work.
