These arrangements will be reviewed by the ONA Labour Management Committee on an annual basis as requested by either party.

The Employer and the Association may agree in certain circumstances, to adjust the schedule of an individual full-time employee who normally works seventy-five (75) hours bi-weekly, to enable an average bi-weekly work assignment of sixty (60) to seventy-five (75) hours. The parties agree that the arrangement applies to an individual, not to a position. Requests made under this article shall not be unreasonably denied. The following conditions will apply:

The Association and the Hospital agree that the additional hours of work created by these positions will be applied to the part time hours of the unit or will be posted as term positions. In the event that the Registered Nurse affected resigns, transfers, is laid off or terminated, the arrangement will be deemed to be discontinued immediately. It is agreed that Registered Nurses in these positions are not entitled to declare their availability for extra available work. Registered Nurses in these positions will discuss any change in circumstance with their Operations Director on a yearly basis.
