Jury Duty/Subpoenaed Witness Duty. The Employer shall grant leave of absence without loss of seniority, pay, or benefits to an employee who serves as a juror or is subpoenaed to appear as a witness in any court, other than on his/her own behalf. The employer shall pay such employee the difference between his/her normal earnings and the payment he/she receives for jury service or court witness, excluding payment for traveling, meals or other expenses. The employee will present proof of service and the amount of pay received.
Jury Duty/Subpoenaed Witness Duty. Employees who are required to be absent from work to serve as jurors, or who are subpoenaed to appear as a witness in an action in which they themselves are not involved, will be granted leave with pay. Employees granted leave for this purpose must remit any remuneration received from the Courts.
