LEADING HANDS. ‌ (1) In addition to the appropriate Ordinary Weekly Wage Rate prescribed in Clause 9 - Wage Rates of this Agreement a leading hand appointed in writing as such by the Company, shall be paid one of the following weekly all-purpose allowances in accordance with the table below: These allowances will apply from the first pay period commencing on or after the dates indicated. Up to three (3) employees $32.31 $33.11 $33.94 $34.79 $35.66 Three (3) and not more than seven (7) other employees $68.27 $69.98 $71.73 $73.52 $75.36 More than seven (7) other employees $112.64 $115.45 $118.34 $121.30 $124.33 (2) A rigger or scaffolder with an advanced certificate of competency shall be deemed to be a leading hand placed in charge of up to three (3) other Employees and paid as such in recognition of the requirement for them to supervise the work of up to three (3) other Employees on scaffolding or rigging activities as and when required by the Company. (3) A rigger or scaffolder with an advanced certificate of competency may qualify for payment of a higher leading hand allowance if they are appointed in writing as such by the Company to be in charge of more than three (3) other Employees, but they shall then not receive payment of the allowance contained at subclause (1) of this clause. In other words, there shall be no double counting of the allowances contained within this clause only the highest applicable allowance shall be paid.

LEADING HANDS. Leading hands in charge of three or more people shall receive the relevant amount as set out below. In charge of: 3 to 10 employees $25.30 per week extra 11 to 20 employees $37.80 per week extra more than 20 employees $48.10 per week extra

LEADING HANDS. In addition to the weekly wage prescribed in subclause (1) of this schedule a leading hand shall be paid - (a) If placed in charge of not less than three and not more than ten other workers $21.60 (b) If placed in charge of more than ten and not more than 20 other workers $27.10 (c) If placed in charge of more than 20 other workers $32.10

LEADING HANDS. In addition to the appropriate base wage rate prescribed in Clause 3.3, a Leading Hand appointed in writing as such by the company, shall be paid one of the following all purpose allowances: • If placed in charge of not less than three (3) and not more than nine (9) other employees $0.62 per hr • If placed in charge of not less than ten (10) and not more than twenty (20) other employees $0.95 per hr • If placed in charge of more than twenty (20) other employees $1.23 per hr

LEADING HANDS. (a) A person specifically appointed to be a leading hand shall be paid at the rate of the undermentioned additional amounts above the rate of the highest classification supervised, or his/her own rate, whichever is the highest, in accordance with the number of persons in his/her charge:- Weekly Only $ Base Rate Per Hour $ (i) In charge of not more than one person 13.10 0.36 (ii) In charge of two and not more than five persons 29.20 0.80 (iii) In charge of six and not more than ten persons 37.30 1.01 (iv) In charge of more than ten persons 49.50 1.34 (b) The hourly rate prescribed in paragraph (a) hereof is calculated to the nearest cent (less than half a cent to be disregarded) by multiplying the weekly base amount by 52 and dividing the result by 50.4 and by dividing the amount by 38.

LEADING HANDS. In addition to the appropriate margin prescribed in this subclause, a Leading Hand shall be paid: $ (a) If placed in charge of not less than three and not more than ten other employees 21.90 (b) If placed in charge of not less than ten and not more than 20 other employees 35.10 (c) If placed in charge of more then 20 other employees 43.50 (25.3) A casual employee shall be paid 20 per cent in addition to the ordinary rate.

LEADING HANDS. An employee so appointed by the company to perform the duties of a Leading Hand shall be paid in addition to the base rate of pay the following: i. Where in charge of up to nine employees, $9.00 per week ii. In charge of a complete store, $18.00 per week.
