Classification Committee. A. The following administrators or professional-technical employees will serve on the Classification Committee: (1) Chief Human Resources Officer, Human Resources Division (2) Executive Director, Xxxxx County Association of School Administrators and Professional-technical Employees (3) Two School-based Administrators (4) One Non School-based Administrator (5) One Non School-based Professional-technical Employee B. The Chief Human Resources Officer, Human Resources Division, and the Executive Director, Xxxxx County Association of School Administrators and Professional-technical Employees, will be permanent members of the committee. The remaining four members will serve until replaced by mutual agreement of the School District and the Association.
Classification Committee. The Union and the Employer shall utilize Classification Committees consisting of two (2) management representatives appointed by the CEO, or designee, and two (2) bargaining unit representatives appointed by the Business Manager or designee. The primary purpose of the Classification Committee shall be the review of newly proposed job classifications or changes in existing classifications falling within the scope of this Agreement. The Employer agrees to submit changes in job descriptions for review and comment to the Classification Committee prior to implementing such changes and that it will continue to seek consensus and work collaboratively with the Union prior to implementation, recognizing that such decisions are best made by mutual agreement whenever possible. The procedure for review and comment shall be as follows:
Classification Committee. An Classification Committee composed of Administration and Union representatives may be established at the request of either party, to discuss the compensation level and duty assignments and task designations of positions within the bargaining unit. It is specifically understood that the job classifications and positions will remain in effect for the life of this agreement unless a change is mutually agreed to or unless it is changed by the Board under the provisions of Article 18 - New Job. Any and all recommendations of the Classification Committee will not be binding upon either party and will not be the basis of a grievance nor subject to the grievance procedure.
Classification Committee. The Union and the Company shall establish a Classification Committee consisting of one (1) management representative and one (1) Union representative appointed by the Chief Xxxxxxx. A. The Committee shall be charged with establishing or amending proposed job classifications or descriptions falling within the scope of this Agreement. B. If the Classification Committee does not agree on the new job classification or the proposed changes the Company may implement its proposed changes, but the change(s) will be subject to the grievance process outlined in Section 4.3, starting at Step II. C. The Company will also submit material changes in job descriptions for review and comment of the committee prior to implementing such changes.
Classification Committee. A joint committee, consisting of two members to be named by the Company and two members to be named by the Union, shall be established and shall meet at least semi-annually to review any new jobs that have not been classified under this contract. A new job to be reviewed is one that has been established for at least one year and to which, from the date of the job’s first establishment, there have been at any one time three or more persons assigned. The joint committee shall determine a mutually acceptable description, classification and wage scale for the job.
Classification Committee. The parties to this Agreement acknowledge the mutual benefits to be derived from consultation and are prepared to engage in joint consultation on all matters related to classification.

The superintendent, deputy superintendents, associate superintendents, or assistant superintendents will submit a request for classification for a proposed new administrative or professional- technical position and a duties and responsibilities questionnaire for the new position to the Chief Human Resources Officer, Human Resources Division. B. The questionnaire will be analyzed and points assigned by the Human Resources Division using the approved criteria which may include market factors. C. The Classification Committee will be convened to review the analysis and the points assigned by the Human Resources Division. The Classification Committee will seek clarification for the position as needed. D. The final calculation of the Classification Committee will be submitted to the Superintendent. The Superintendent will determine if the position will be submitted to the Business and Finance Services Division for inclusion in the budget process. E. The Superintendent’s recommendation will be submitted to the Business and Finance Services Division. F. The position will be implemented in the next school year. Positions requiring an immediate creation can be created with the approval of the Superintendent. G. There is no appeal of the Classification Committee’s final calculation, other than verification of its accuracy. 20-11-3 Requested Review of Existing Non Site-based Positions A. The superintendent, deputy superintendents, associate superintendents, or assistant superintendents of the relevant position may request a review of salary-range placement of an existing position. B. Classification Committee. In the event that a committee of the school board examines the issue of differentiating between employees, subject to this agreement it will notify the MVSSA President who then may designate a representative to provide input regarding classifications.
Classification Committee. 18.4.1 The classification committee will be comprised of up to 2 employees nominated by the University and up to two employees nominated by the Union. 18.4.2 If an employee on the classification committee has a conflict of interest with a reclassification application, they will withdraw themselves from that committee for the application and an alternative committee member will be nominated. 18.4.3 The role of the classification committee is to consider reclassification applications independently and objectively, and ensure that the reclassification process protects the integrity of the classification descriptions and position descriptors. 18.4.4 The classification committee can request additional information from relevant employees to assist its assessment of an application. 18.4.5 The classification committee will assess the position description against the Professional Employee classification descriptions in Schedule 4 – Professional Employee classification descriptions and determine the appropriate classification level within 1 month. 18.4.6 The classification committee is required to determine the appropriate classification level by consensus. 18.4.7 Where the classification committee is unable to reach a decision by consensus, the reclassification application will be forwarded to a new classification committee for determination. 18.4.8 Where the second classification committee is unable to reach a decision by consensus, the reclassification application will be forwarded to the relevant Executive Group member for determination. 18.4.9 Where the classification committee’s decision is that the current classification is the appropriate classification, the employee and supervisor will be provided with a written determination of reasons for the determination. 18.4.10 The effective date of a change in classification will be the date the reclassification application was submitted to People & Culture.
