Medical and Prescription Coverage. The Employer shall make available to all employees comprehensive major medical, hospitalization, and prescription insurance coverage and benefits in the same manner as is offered to non-bargaining unit employees. The Employer shall select appropriate carriers/providers and otherwise determine the method of provision and coverage. The costs and/or terms and conditions of said insurance shall be at the discretion of the Employer and may be subject to change. The Employer will meet with the Union prior to the implementation of a new plan and/or carrier to discuss new plan design. The participating employee may either select single, with spouse, with children, family or other coverage offered under the plan.

Medical and Prescription Coverage. If the Severed Employee elects continuing group coverage pursuant to the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985, as amended (“COBRA”), the Employer shall provide reimbursement of the Employer and Employee portion of the cost of such continuation coverage until the earlier of (a) the end of the period the Severed Employee is receiving Base Salary continuation payments under Section 3.01 above, or (b) such earlier date that the Severed Employee is covered under another group health plan, subject to the terms of such plan and applicable law.

  • Coverage i) It is expected that both job sharers will cover each other's incidental illnesses. If, because of unavoidable circumstances, one cannot cover the other, the unit supervisor must be notified to book coverage. Job sharers are not required to cover for their partner in the case of prolonged or extended absences.

  • Medical Examination Where the Employer requires an employee to submit to a medical examination or medical interview, it shall be at the Employer's expense and on the Employer's time.
