Employee Attendance at Staff Meetings. (a) Where an employee is directed by the employer to attend a staff meeting or a committee meeting during his/her working hours, the employee shall be compensated at his/her regular hourly rate for the time spent in attendance at these meetings. (b) Where an employee is directed by the employer to attend a staff meeting or committee meeting outside of normal working hours, said employee shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Agreement.
