NAIDOC Leave. If you are an Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander employee you are entitled to 1 paid day during NAIDOC week so you can participate in National Aboriginal and Islander Day celebrations.
NAIDOC Leave a. Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander employees may be granted one day’s paid leave per year to attend and participate in NAIDOC Week activities (NAIDOC Leave), subject to operational requirements.
NAIDOC Leave. 50.1 You may take up to two days paid leave to participate in activities related to NAIDOC Week. These can be taken as either full day absences or several short absences to the equivalent of two days across the week.
NAIDOC Leave. 49.1.1 First Nations employees may access up to one day of paid leave per calendar year to participate in NAIDOC week activities.
NAIDOC Leave. Leave for the purpose of attending NAIDOC week activities is currently only available to employees of Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander decent. The leave entitlement is being extended to everyone, other than casual employees. That means that any employee who wishes to attend NAIDOC week activities will be able to access up to one day’s paid leave, subject to operational requirements. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS The proposed Agreement has been updated to align with the Holidays Act 1958, including the new Reconciliation Day public holiday in replacement for Family and Community Day.
NAIDOC Leave. Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander employees may apply to the Corporation to be granted up to (5) days NAIDOC Leave per annum to participate in NAIDOC week events.
NAIDOC Leave. 61.1. An Employee (other than a casual Employee) who identifies as Australian Aboriginal and/or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander or an Employee who is part of an Aboriginal family, may be granted a part day or up to one (1) full day paid leave to participate in NAIDOC Week celebrations.
NAIDOC Leave. An employee who identifies as indigenous Australian shall be entitled to 5 days paid leave per annum to attend activities associated with NAIDOC Week.
NAIDOC Leave. The Chief Executive Officer may grant leave to an employee, either with or without pay, for the purposes attending NAIDOC week celebrations. COMPASSIONATE/BEREAVEMENT LEAVE Employees are entitled to three days of paid compassionate/bereavement leave to spend time with a member of their immediate family or household who has sustained a life-threatening illness or injury and/or after the death of a member of the employee's immediate family or household. The Chief Executive Officer may approve compassionate/bereavement leave for each occasion as prescribed above and the entitlement may be taken as a continuous period or in separate periods. LEAVE FOR ADF RESERVE AND CONTINUOUS FULL-TIME SERVICE OR CADET FORCE OBLIGATIONS An employee may be granted leave (with or without pay) to enable the employee to fulfil Australian Defence Force (ADF) Reserve and Continuous Full-time Service (CFTS) or Cadet Force obligations. An employee is entitled to leave with pay, of up to four weeks during each financial year, and an additional two weeks paid leave in the first year of ADF Reserve Service, for the purpose of fulfilling service in the ADF Reserve. With the exception of the additional two weeks in the first year of service, leave can be accumulated and taken over a period of two years, to enable the employee to undertake training as a member of the ADF Reserves. An employee who is an officer or instructor of cadets in a Cadet Force may be granted paid leave of up to three weeks each financial year to perform duties as an officer or instructor of Cadets. For these purposes ‘Cadet Force’ means the Australian Navy Cadets, Australian Army Cadets, or the Australian Air Force Cadets. ADF Reserve leave counts as service for all purposes, except for unpaid leave to undertake CFTS. Unpaid leave for the purpose of CFTS counts for all purposes except recreation leave accrual.
NAIDOC Leave. The Secretary may approve up to two days paid leave per annum to participate in relevant NAIDOC week activities for employees of Aboriginal or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander descent or employees with family or household members of Aboriginal or Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander descent.
