National Teacher Certification. Teachers who have attained National Certification will receive an additional one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars each year up to five (5) years included in the teacher’s salary, as long as the teacher works in the District.

National Teacher Certification. The district shall reimburse the employees for required fees, tuition, and books, not to exceed three thousand dollars ($3000) when s/he successfully completes the National Board Certification. The three thousand dollars ($3000) limit shall not apply to employees who began a National Board Teacher Certification program prior to September 1, 2011.

The teacher applying for National Board Certification shall file a copy of his or her application with the Board within thirty (30) days of the filing with the National Certification Board.
