Non-Renewal of Appointment. If a decision is made not to renew the Agreement, Resident must be provided with a written notice of intent not to renew the Agreement no later than four months prior to the end of the current Agreement. However, if the primary reason(s) for the nonrenewal occurs within the four months prior to the end of the Agreement, Resident must be provided with as much written notice of the intent not to renew or of the intent to renew but not to promote to the next level of training as the circumstances reasonably allow prior to the end of the agreement. Resident may implement the GMEC Resident Grievance Policy and Procedure if such notice of intent not to renew the Agreement is received.

Non-Renewal of Appointment. Non-tenured appointments are for one (1) year and place no obligation on the Board for renewal. Upon request, a non-tenured faculty member will be informed of the reasons for non-renewal. If the Board terminates a non-tenured appointment, any salary payment or adjustment extending beyond the date on which the Board terminates such appointment shall be at the sole discretion of the Board.
Non-Renewal of Appointment. In the event that Resident’s appointment will not be renewed or if Resident will not be promoted to the next level of training, the Program Director will provide the Resident with a written notice of intent to not renew the appointment no later than four (4) months prior to the end of this Agreement. If the primary reason for the non-renewal or non-promotion occurs within the final four (4) months of this Agreement, the Program Director will provide Resident with as much written notice of non- renewal as circumstances will allow. In the event of notice of non-renewal of appointment, Resident will be allowed to implement the Program’s grievance procedures. The Non- Renewal of Agreement of Appointment Policy is under the tab entitled “Policies and Procedures” on Clinic’s Residency and Fellows Intranet website.
Non-Renewal of Appointment. The names of Faculty whose appointments are not to be renewed shall be presented to the Board by the College President. Board approval is required for non-renewal of tenure track and tenured Faculty appointments. The Board shall inform the tenure track Faculty Member of its intent on or before February 1. The Board shall inform the tenured faculty of its intent on or before February 1 of the year preceding the final year of appointment. This schedule shall also apply to persons subject to non-renewal of an appointment due to the discontinuance of a program. See Section D.10, TENURE, in this Contractual Agreement. In cases where persons are deemed incompetent, cruel, negligent, or immoral or where there is other sufficient cause, such Faculty may be subject to immediate suspension or removal, providing due process is followed. See Section D.10, TENURE, in this Contractual Agreement.
Non-Renewal of Appointment. A non-tenure track faculty member who is eligible for reappointment consideration shall be reviewed for reappointment prior to the expiration of his or her appointment according to the notice periods outlined in Section 11 of this Article. Reappointment reviews shall be completed by the Department Chair/Xxxx’x designee. Procedures described in approved unit guidelines for non-tenure track faculty shall apply to those faculty members being reviewed for reappointment.
Non-Renewal of Appointment. Non-Renewal means the training program has decided not to offer a contract to the Employee for the next academic year or training period for failing to maintain academic and/or other professional standards required to progress in or complete the program. Non-renewal of Appointment becomes a permanent designation in the Employee’s file, may be grieved through the Grievance and Arbitration Procedure (Article 9), and will be disclosed to third parties in response to requests for information about the Employee.
Non-Renewal of Appointment. 10.1 The only reasons for non-renewal of appointment of a Sessional Faculty Member shall be
(a) teaching performance; or (b) lack of funding; or (c) discontinuance or non-scheduling of a course or section of a course; or (d) for just cause as is generally recognized at law.
10.2 Where a Sessional Faculty Member is not reappointed due to unsatisfactory performance, the Department will immediately notify him/her of that fact in writing, with a copy to the Faculty Association. Any denial of reappointment shall be accompanied by full reasons for the denial, demonstrating that the applicable criteria were properly considered.
10.3 A Sessional Faculty Member, following such notification, may request a meeting with the Department Head to discuss the reasons for the decision and to place additional information before the Head. Such a meeting will be held within seven (7) working days of the request. The Sessional Faculty Member is entitled to Faculty Association representation at that meeting if he/she wishes.
10.4 If a Sessional Faculty Member wishes to file a grievance, the appropriate procedures, as set out in Article 21 of the Agreement on the Framework for Collective Bargaining shall be followed, commencing at the level outlined in Article 21.
Non-Renewal of Appointment. Prominence, at its discretion, may elect not to re-appoint Agents who have been credentialed and appointed with Prominence and for two consecutive years have not sold any Plans to Prospective Enrollees.
