Overtime Clarification. Employee will not be placed on jobs that they are not qualified to perform; however, on a limited basis, if an operator is training and feels comfortable in performing that job without a trainer, he may do so. The EOWEO overtime posting will be constructed to follow start times in accordance with the contract. Overtime posting will be for all known vacancies for the week. Employees may sign up to work any open vacancies within that week as their qualifying overtime. If a vacancy is required to be filled and is still open, the least junior qualified employee will be forced to cover that vacancy. Overtime Clarification. If the starting/finishing dates of the schools vary because of some unusual circumstances such as building construction or repairs and a Crossing Guard position is open, a permanent guard will be utilized to fill that position. Any time worked in excess of 40 hours is paid at the rate of time and one-half.

  • Overtime Work A. Overtime pay is to be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the basic hourly straight-time rate.

  • Overtime Payment Full-time employees shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times the employee's straight time hourly rate for all time worked outside of their normal work hours and/or work days up to sixteen (16) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period. For hours worked in excess of sixteen (16) in a twenty-four (24) hour period, employees shall be paid double time. Employees who receive an unpaid lunch period and are not required to work at their work assignments during such period shall not have such time treated as hours worked for the purpose of computing overtime.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Overtime Computation Computation of overtime will be rounded upward to the nearest one-tenth (1/10th) of an hour.

  • Overtime Calculation For the purpose of overtime calculation only, approved or scheduled time off work will be considered the same as time worked.
