Payment for Public Holiday. All work performed on any of the holidays specified in sub clause (a) shall be at the rate of double time and a half with a minimum engagement of four (4) hours.

Payment for Public Holiday. An employee stood down is entitled to payment for any public holiday occurring during the period of stand down.

Payment for Public Holiday. (a) For all time worked on a public holiday the rate of double-time and-a-half shall be paid. "Double time and a-half" means one and one-half day's wages in addition to the prescribed weekly rate, or pro rata if there is more or less than a day.

  • Legal Holidays In any case where the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.

  • Statutory Holiday All time worked on such Statutory Holidays as are provided for in this Agreement shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at two hundred percent (200%) of the employee's regular straight-time rate, or the employee may elect to be paid straight-time rates for the overtime hours and take an equal number of hours as time off. Such time off must be taken according to a schedule acceptable to the employee's Supervisor within thirty (30) days of the end of the pay period in which the overtime was worked.

  • GENERAL HOLIDAYS 13.01 The following days shall be recognized and considered as paid general holidays: New Year's Day Labour Day Xxxxx Xxxx Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day Xxxxx Xxx Day and any other day or portion of a day designated as a paid holiday by the Civic, Provincial or Federal Government.
