Pension Advisory Committee. The Company and the Association shall establish a Pension Advisory Committee consisting of a maximum of three (3) representatives from the Company and three (3) representatives of the Association and one (1) retired member of the plan. The purposes of the Advisory Committee are: a) To promote awareness and understanding of the plan; b) To monitor the administration of the plan; and c) To make recommendations to the administrator of the plan respecting the administration of the plan. The Advisory Committee shall have the right to examine the records of the administrator in respect of the administration of the plan in order to fulfil the purposes of the committee and the administrator of the plan shall provide the Advisory Committee with: a) A copy of the current plan text; b) A copy of plan text amendments; and c) A copy of plan documents that relate to the plan that are required to be filed with the Pension Commission (such as the annual information return, valuation report, and audited financial statement). But all of the above does not apply in respect of information as to the service, wages, pension benefit or other personal information related to any specific member without the person's specific prior consent. The Advisory Committee shall meet a maximum of four (4) times per calendar year. Some committee meetings may take the form of training sessions as arranged by the administrator of the plan. All expenses of the Advisory Committee approved by the administrator of the plan shall be charged to the plan. The Company will provide the Association with a copy of all bargaining unit pension plan text amendments at least twenty-one days prior to presenting such amendments to the Board of Directors for execution. The Company will provide the Pension Advisory Committee with individual member data, accrued benefit, contributions, etc. only if each individual employee provides written authorization. The Company will provide the Pension Advisory with a copy of the actuarial valuation report which contains a description of the actuarial assumptions and cost method when the report is filed with Ontario Pension Commission. The Company will provide a copy of the Statement of the Investment Policies and Goals when the statement is filed with the Ontario Pension Commission.

Pension Advisory Committee. One (1) representative from the Union is entitled to sit with voice and vote on the Pension Advisory Committee (PAC). An alternate may also be appointed by the Union. The alternate will attend in the place of the regular member when the regular member is unable to attend. The University agrees to continue the current practice, during the term of this Agreement, to allow the alternate to attend meetings in addition to the regular member as an observer, subject to operational requirements and with the agreement of PAC.
Pension Advisory Committee. In order to promote awareness and greater understanding of the plan amongst the membership, a Pension Advisory Committee will be established. This Committee will be made up of one active Plan Member and one retired Plan Member. Appointments to the Committee shall be made by the Union members of the Negotiating Committee. The Committee may review and provide advice on the financial, actuarial and administrative aspects of the plan and any other matters relating to the plan as requested by the employer or administrator.

Establishing forms of communicationsto employees with respect to the rights and obligations of employees under the plan. Reviewing documents filed in compliance with government regulations applicable to the plan. Reviewing the report of the Actuary for the plan so as to monitor the validity of actuarial assumptions in relation to experience. Reviewing investment experience of the Pension Trust Fund for the previous year. The Company or Union representatives may be accompanied at the meeting by a consultant, auditor or other relevant specialist if requested by either party. The Committee may make recommendationsto the Company with respect to any proposed changes or amendments to the ongoing administration of the Pension Plan but shall not have the authority to amend, modify or alter any of the specific provisions of the Agreement.

  • Advisory Committee The Settling State shall designate an Opioid Settlement Remediation Advisory Committee (the “Advisory Committee”) to provide input and recommendations regarding remediation spending from that Settling State’s Abatement Accounts Fund. A Settling State may elect to use an existing advisory committee or similar entity (created outside of a State-Subdivision Agreement or Allocation Statute); provided, however, the Advisory Committee or similar entity shall meet the following requirements: (i) Written guidelines that establish the formation and composition of the Advisory Committee, terms of service for members, contingency for removal or resignation of members, a schedule of meetings, and any other administrative details; (ii) Composition that includes at least an equal number of local representatives as state representatives; (iii) A process for receiving input from Subdivisions and other communities regarding how the opioid crisis is affecting their communities, their abatement needs, and proposals for abatement strategies and responses; and (iv) A process by which Advisory Committee recommendations for expenditures for Opioid Remediation will be made to and considered by the appropriate state agencies.

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • Technical Advisory Committee (TAC The goal of this subtask is to create an advisory committee for this Agreement. The TAC should be composed of diverse professionals. The composition will vary depending on interest, availability, and need. TAC members will serve at the CAM’s discretion. The purpose of the TAC is to: • Provide guidance in project direction. The guidance may include scope and methodologies, timing, and coordination with other projects. The guidance may be based on: o Technical area expertise; o Knowledge of market applications; or o Linkages between the agreement work and other past, present, or future projects (both public and private sectors) that TAC members are aware of in a particular area. • Review products and provide recommendations for needed product adjustments, refinements, or enhancements. • Evaluate the tangible benefits of the project to the state of California, and provide recommendations as needed to enhance the benefits. • Provide recommendations regarding information dissemination, market pathways, or commercialization strategies relevant to the project products. The TAC may be composed of qualified professionals spanning the following types of disciplines: • Researchers knowledgeable about the project subject matter; • Members of trades that will apply the results of the project (e.g., designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and trade representatives); • Public interest market transformation implementers; • Product developers relevant to the project; • U.S. Department of Energy research managers, or experts from other federal or state agencies relevant to the project; • Public interest environmental groups; • Utility representatives; • Air district staff; and • Members of relevant technical society committees. • Prepare a List of Potential TAC Members that includes the names, companies, physical and electronic addresses, and phone numbers of potential members. The list will be discussed at the Kick-off meeting, and a schedule for recruiting members and holding the first TAC meeting will be developed. • Recruit TAC members.   • Review Committee A Committee of six members, three each from the Guild and shall be named. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be put before this Committee for resolution. When the Committee is unable to resolve an issue it is agreed that a third party will be named by mutual agreement of the parties to provide Arbitration for binding resolution. Failing such an appointment by the Committee either party may refer it to arbitration under Article of the Collective Agreement.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply. (b) An equal number of representatives of each party as mutually agreed shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. A request for a meeting hereunder will be made in writing prior to the date proposed and accompanied by an agenda of matters proposed to be discussed, which shall not include matters that are properly the subject of grievance or negotiations for the amendment or renewal of this agreement. Any representative(s) attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance. (c) It is agreed that the topic of a rehabilitation program for drug and alcohol abuse is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. It is also agreed that the topic of the utilization of full-time and part-time staff is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. The committee shall have access to work schedules and job postings upon request. (d) It is understood that joint meetings with other Labour-Management Committees in the Hospital may be scheduled concerning issues of mutual interest if satisfactory to all concerned. (e) Where two or more agreements exist between a Hospital and CUPE the Committee may be a joint one representing employees under both agreements, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Consultative Committee (a) To assist in creating a stable and co-operative environment for the project, a consultative committee has been established which shall operate in accordance with its charter. It is not the objective of parties to this clause that the committee would over-ride the function and responsibilities of management or unions.

  • Benefits Committee As per LOA#10, a benefits committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, shall convene upon request to address all matters that may arise in the operation of the OSSTF ELHT.

  • JOINT LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE The parties agree that they will continue the Joint Labor-Management Committee to discuss matters of mutual interest relating to the employees covered by this Agreement. Topics for the Joint Labor-Management Committee may include, but are not limited to, Professional Development, Incentive Pay, etc. The Committee shall meet quarterly or as mutually agreed by the co-chairs. The President of CWA or designee and the Director of Human Resources or designee shall serve as co-chairs.

  • Oversight Committee The Company and Union shall each appoint three members to be part of an Oversight Committee. The Oversight Committee will attempt to resolve any issues that may arise regarding this Letter of Agreement within forty-five (45) days. Issues that the Oversight Committee cannot resolve will be subject to the party’s grievance procedure Subsection 102.3(a)(2) timelines will be waived for the forty-five (45) day period.
