PERMANENT PART-TIME BENEFITS. A permanent part-time represented employee, who works fifty percent (50%) or more of the normal workweek for the full-time equivalent to the represented employee’s own class, shall be entitled to the following benefits:

PERMANENT PART-TIME BENEFITS. (Applicable to PPT only) Permanent part-time employees are entitled to participate in the group insurance plans. The Employer shall pay: a) For STD, LTD and Life Insurance: one hundred percent (100%) of the premium. For the purpose of clarity, it is understood that benefit entitlements, under this Section, will be the same percentage that the regular weekly hours of work bear to full-time weekly hours. b) For all other insured benefits: twenty percent (20%), forty percent (40%), sixty percent (60%) or eighty percent (80%) of the monthly premium, whichever is closest to the percentage that the regular weekly hours of work bear to full-time weekly hours. c) The employee shall pay the balance of monthly premium through payroll deduction. It is understood that employees shall have the right to opt in/out of the benefit coverage in this Section. Once opted-in an employee shall remain in the selected insured benefits. d) PPTs who are assigned for four (4) continuous months in an acting position, will have their benefits under this Article paid in accordance with the percentage that the regular weekly hours worked during the extended assignment bear to full- time hours. This will apply until the extended assignment ends.
PERMANENT PART-TIME BENEFITS. A permanent part- time employee covered hereinunder and budgeted for over 1,000 hours of work per year shall be entitled to City payment of medical insurance premiums the PERS retirement plan. Such employee may also be enrolled in and covered under the City's life insurance, long term disability insurance and dental plan, if permitted by the plan, subject to employee request and employee payment of the premiums required by the plan.

  • Part-Time Benefits time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or in part by the hospitals, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call-in pay, responsibility pay, jury and witness duty, bereavement leave, and pregnancy and parental supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid. For part-time employees who are members of the Hospital's pension plan the percentage in lieu of fringe benefits is twelve percent (12%).

  • Part-Time Nurse is a Nurse hired to a position to work on a regular or temporary basis that is less than the work period of a Full-Time Nurse.

  • Leave Benefits Paid leave is available to the Superintendent when the following specific conditions are met: (1) the Superintendent is currently employed by the District and (2) the paid leave day is taken on a day Superintendent would otherwise be expected to be at work.

  • PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Regular part time employees shall be provided the opportunity to purchase benefits of one of the plans described in Article XVII, Sections B and C at the Employer plan’s premium cost. The Employer will pay the Employer’s monthly share of the premium cost at a ratio proportionate to the employee’s part time condition of employment contingent upon receipt of the employee’s yearly share of the employee’s premium.

  • Pregnancy Leave Benefits Where superior provisions exist, as a result of the meshing of the 2012 MOU with any superior provisions that existed in the 2008-2012 collective agreements, they must be incorporated into the common central provisions in Article 11.2 of Part A of this agreement and the resulting article placed in Part B of this agreement.

  • General Benefits During the Term of Employment, the Executive shall be entitled to participate in such employee pension and welfare benefit plans and programs of the Company as are made available to the Company's senior-level executives or to its employees generally, as such plans or programs may be in effect from time to time, including, without limitation, health, medical, dental, long-term disability, travel accident and life insurance plans.

  • Dental Benefits The County offers dental and orthodontic benefits to full and part-time regular employees and their eligible dependent(s). Benefit provisions, co­ payments and deductibles are outlined in the Evidence of Coverage. The employee contribution is $13 per pay period ($28.26 per month). The County shall contribute to part-time eligible employees on a pro-rated basis, in accordance with Section 10.2.6.

  • Joint and individual liability and benefits Except as otherwise set out in this agreement, any agreement, covenant, representation or warranty under this agreement by two or more persons binds them jointly and each of them individually, and any benefit in favour of two or more persons is for the benefit of them jointly and each of them individually.

  • Other Severance Benefits Executive hereby agrees that in consideration for the payments to be received under Section 7(b) of this Agreement, Executive waives any and all rights to any payments or benefits under any severance plans or arrangements of the Company or their respective affiliates that specifically provide for severance payments, other than the Change in Control Severance Agreement between the Company and Executive (the “Change in Control Severance Agreement”); provided that any payments payable to Executive under Section 7(b) hereof shall be offset by any payments payable under the Change in Control Severance Agreement.
