Player Conduct. As a member of a REC Athletic Team, each athlete represents and serves as a reflection of the school, team, and their community and agrees to conduct himself or herself responsibly both on and off the playing area, to display sportsmanship on the playing area and to demonstrate concern for the rights, safety and welfare of others off the playing area. All students must adhere to the RETSD Code of Conduct. All athletes agree to treat their coaches, teammates, competitors and referees with respect and courtesy. Behaviour that shows disrespect toward other players, coaches, and referees, or demonstrates lack of self-control including the use of profanity will be subject to consequences. The coach and athletic director in consultation with the Administration will determine appropriate consequences.
Player Conduct. In addition to adhering to the General Code of Conduct detailed in Section VII, Part A (above), players will not: ✓ Leave the team-designated area(s), unless excused to leave, by a coach, parent or guardian. ✓ Instigate flagrant or violent fouls on the practice or game field. ✓ Harass, bait or show objectionable demonstration or dissent regarding any official’s or coach’s decision. ✓ Refuse to abide by an official’s or coach’s decision. ✓ Disobey or attempt to circumvent SYFA or TVYFL rules and regulations or the intent thereof. ✓ Use illegal substances or act in any way that is detrimental to themselves, their team, SYFA, or TVYFL. This Player Code of Conduct applies to players during practices, games, team-sponsored events, SYFA-sponsored events, or any time the player is wearing an SYFA jersey.
Player Conduct. We strive to make all of our players and users feel safe and welcome when using our Services and playing our games and we want everyone to play by the same rules. So, if you use our Services as intended, without cheating, being abusive, disruptive or disrespectful, or being unfair, you are probably in the clear, but please read all of the terms of this XXXX carefully to be sure. All Players agree to treat their coaches, teammates, competitors and referees with respect and courtesy. Behavior that shows disrespect toward other players, coaches, and referees, or demonstrates lack of self-control including the use of profanity will be subject to discipline. Behavior that shows disrespect toward other players, coaches, and referees, or demonstrates lack of self-control including the use of profanity will be subject to discipline. The coach will determine appropriate disciplinary actions. Should the behavior continue to be inappropriate, the coach may seek the removal of the player from the team subject to approval of the VP of Travel and Board of Trustees [See Disciplinary Action Below].

All players agree to treat their coaches, teammates, competitors and referees with respect and courtesy. Players agree to always work hard, to learn as much as they can to improve their individual skills and contribute to the success of the team. While all players should have fun, this is not the sole goal of the program. The Red River Hoops experience requires commitment and dedication on the part of the player, their family and the coaches. The objective of the program is to develop advanced basketball skills while at the same time, learning the values of hard work, preparation and teamwork. As a player, you commit to always do your best, whether it is during a practice or a game. In doing so, you will always know you have no one to blame but yourself if you give less than your best. Behavior that shows disrespect toward other players, coaches, referees or demonstrates lack of self-control will be subject to discipline. This includes the use of profanity. The coach will determine all appropriate disciplinary actions. Should the behavior continue to be inappropriate, the coach may seek the removal of the player from the team, subject to approval of the Red River Hoops Association Board of Directors. All players who are members of Red River Hoops understand playing basketball demands tremendous commitment and dedication to the game and their team. Likewise, parents make great commitment and sacrifice for their child to play with the team. Playing for our team is a privilege, not a right.
