Political Leaves. V.5.1 Trent University is committed to the principle that members of an academic community should be free to enter public life and to engage in political activity.
Political Leaves. Employees elected or appointed to any political office (excluding the Union Bargaining Unit) shall be eligible for unpaid leave of absence during their tenure in such office, but shall not exceed two (2) calendar years. Seniority shall not accumulate during such leaves.
