Pregnancy Leave Pursuant To Washington Administrative Code. (A) Employee Eligibility: A female employee not eligible for FMLA who is sick or temporarily disabled and unable to work as a result of pregnancy will be granted a leave of absence for the period of that sickness or temporary disability, for up to six weeks, or for a longer duration in accordance with state law if state law requires more than six weeks. Subject to business necessity pursuant to Washington Administrative Code Section 000-00-000 (5)(c), if an employee on such Pregnancy Leave returns to work immediately after the period of her sickness or disability, the Hospital will allow her to return to the same job or a similar job of the same pay. If the employee is eligible for FMLA leave, her pregnancy leave will be designated as FMLA leave. If an employee on Pregnancy Leave exhausts the leave time allowed under this section, her leave will be converted to General Medical Leave and will be subject to the terms of such leaves.

  • CERTIFICATION PROHIBITING DISCRIMINATION AGAINST FIREARM AND AMMUNITION INDUSTRIES (Texas law as of September 1, 2021) By submitting a proposal to this Solicitation, you certify that you agree, when it is applicable, to the following required by Texas law as of September 1, 2021: If (a) company is not a sole proprietorship; (b) company has at least ten (10) full-time employees; (c) this contract has a value of at least $100,000 that is paid wholly or partly from public funds; (d) the contract is not excepted under Tex.
