Premium Pay on Holidays. If a Bargaining Unit Employee works on a Holiday, the employee will receive double their regular rate of pay for all hours worked on the Holiday. However, in order to receive two times the regular rate, the Employee must work their scheduled holiday shift, the scheduled shift immediately prior to the Holiday shift, and the employee’s scheduled shift immediately after the holiday shift.

Premium Pay on Holidays. If a Bargaining Unit Employee works on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day, s/he will receive double her/his regular rate of pay for all hours worked. If a Bargaining Unit Employees works on any other holiday, s/he will receive 1 ½ times her/his regular rate of pay for all hours worked. For the purposes of this article, ‘holiday’ will be defined in twenty- four (24) hour increments. For example: for a shift beginning at 10:00 pm on December 24 and ending at 6:00 am on December 25th, a Bargaining Unit Employee will receive his or her regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours of the shift and holiday pay for the last six (6) hours of the shift.

  • Holiday Premium Pay A Nurse working on a recognized Holiday is entitled to the following compensation for any hours worked on the calendar date of the recognized Holiday: A. A Full-Time or Part-Time Nurse who is regularly scheduled to work on a recognized Holiday shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times (1.5 x) the Nurse’s regular rate of pay; or B.
