Holiday Shift. An employee working on a paid holiday shall be paid in addition to his holiday pay rate and one-half for any hours worked on a shift designated as the "holiday shift".

Holiday Shift. If an employee is regularly scheduled or starts to work on the day before the holiday and continues to work into the holiday he/she shall be guaranteed eight (8) ten (10) hours of continuous work at the regular straight time hourly rate. If an employee is regularly scheduled or starts to work on a holiday and continues to work into the following day, he/she shall be guaranteed eight (8) ten (10) hours of work at two (2) times his/her regular straight time rate. Hours worked prior to his/her regular scheduled starting time shall not be credited to his/her eight (8) hours’ guarantee.

Holiday Shift. (a) Employees Working on a Statutory Holiday Employees working on a Statutory Holiday shall be paid time and one half for all hours worked. In addition, employees working on a statutory holiday shall have the option of receiving a regular day’s pay or a paid day off in lieu. Effective September 1, 2005, this option is no longer available and the lieu day shall be banked to be taken as time off. The date on which the lieu day is taken must be mutually agreed between the employee and their manager. Banked time must be taken prior to using vacation.

  • Day Shift The standard work day will consist of eight (8) hours worked between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with a designated thirty (30) minute lunch period. Starting and stopping times to be determined by mutual agreement between the Company and the shop employees.

  • Holiday Worked In addition to Subsection A above, employees will be compensated for the hours actually worked on a holiday at the overtime rate, in accordance with Article 17, Overtime.

  • Holiday 6.1 The Executive shall be entitled during the Employment to 30 working days holiday in each calendar year plus bank holidays.   • Holiday Pay A. On each of the holidays designated above, each full-time employee scheduled to work but permitted to take the day off shall receive pay computed at the employee's basic hourly rate for the number of hours the employee was regularly scheduled to work.
