Procedure Upon Return from Maternity Leave. When an Employee decides to return to work after maternity leave, she shall provide the Employer with at least two weeks’ notice. On return from maternity leave, an Employee with one year or more continuous service with the Employer shall be placed in her former position. If the former position no longer exists, Article 11 shall apply.

Procedure Upon Return from Maternity Leave. If an employee’s date of return to work differs from that provided in (a) above, she/he shall provide the Employer with at least four (4) weeks notice in writing. On return from maternity / parental / adoption leave, the employee shall be placed at least in her former position. If the former position no longer exists, she shall be placed in a position in her department of equal rank and value at the same rate of pay.
