Project Charter. Outlines the requirements, direction, constraints, and collectively accepted deliverables within a project. In addition, the charter will act as a guideline for the project manager and project team members to establish scope, schedule, and cost pertaining to the Project. The Project Charter template is further explained and listed in Exhibit E. Upon written confirmation by both parties, the completed Project Charter (including any subsequent updates by the parties) shall be automatically substituted and incorporated herein and shall operate as Exhibit E to this Agreement.
Project Charter. The Contractor’s Program Manager shall, during SVP and as further required, prepare a project charter to authorize the work of the project formally and confer upon the Project Manager such authority necessary to execute the work in accordance with this Agreement. The Contractor shall revise and update the charter for the phased development work and implementation of each Release. The project charter shall include descriptions of areas such as project purpose, objectives, and scope; project organization; management review; and financial and personnel resources.
Project Charter. A service and project governance document (“Project Charter”) will record the parties' roles and responsibilities in relation to the Services, the route for escalation of issues and related matters, a RACI-VS Matrix for in-scope Deliverables (noting who is Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed, a Verifier, and a Signatory to each) and a detailed communications plan setting out the frequency and timing of status reports, team meetings and steering group meetings. A Work Order may provide for the preparation and agreement of a bespoke service- specific Project Charter. Unless and until a bespoke Project Charter has been prepared by Consultant and agreed by Client, Consultant’s Standard Project Charter as set out at PPPD-050 Standard Project Charter shall apply.
Project Charter. The PROJECT and all work performed by CMAP will be consistent with the Project Charter included herein as “ATTACHMENT 1”. Changes to the project charter must be jointly agreed to by CMAP and the PARTNER.
Project Charter. The first step in any project is developing a Project Charter. The Project Charter provides a statement of the program’s intended scope, objectives, and participants. It provides a preliminary delineation of roles and responsibilities, outlines the project objectives, identifies the main stakeholders, and defines the authority of the project manager. It serves as a reference of authority for the future of the project. The creation of the Project Charter helps ensure program alignment with the organization’s needs, and that stakeholders and project team members have a clear understanding of the objectives, scope, outcomes, roles/responsibilities, task assignments, and schedule. Once the project is signed, the Project Charter remains a static document used to define the scope of the project and set forth the authority of the Project Manager. The charter continues to provide a foundation for the project, guiding the project’s established principles, goals, and objectives. IV&V examines the Project Charter to assess its key attributes as noted below:

Project Charter. The Project Charter describes the project’s purpose, goals, objectives and scope. Signed by the proper authorities, it servers as authorization for the project. Typically this is drafted during Project Initiation and reviewed/updated as a part of Detailed Project Planning in Project Execution. This ensures that the appropriate detail is present and that all goals, objectives and deliverables are still valid.
Project Charter. Every PennDOT IT Project regardless of Level requires a Project Charter. The Charter identifies the goals, objective and scope of the project. The Charter should be completed before the WBS is developed.
Project Charter. The Project Charter establishes the Project and includes the governance and legal terms for the Project and its Steering Committee. □ Working Group Charters. Each Project may then complete one or more Working Group Charters, which establishes the governance, scope and intellectual property terms for each Working Group under the Project.
