Promotional Exam. A. A written exam will be required of all employees who wish to be considered for a promotion. Written exams will be based upon a job task analysis of the class of positions being tested and an assessment of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the requirements of the classes. B. Only those employees who have been certified as a law enforcement officer pursuant to Chapter 943, Florida Statutes, and who have attained permanent status in their current or a previous certified law enforcement class, or anticipate attaining such permanent status no later than January 1 prior to the May exam, shall be eligible for the promotional exam. C. An employee must submit a request to take the promotional exam to the University’s Human Resources Department no later than the first business day after January 1 of each calendar year. Such request shall indicate the class(es) to which the employee would like to be promoted. D. Employees will be notified in writing by the Department of their eligibility or ineligibility for the class(es) to which he/she applied for promotion. E. The University shall require the Exam Administrator to notify the Human Resources Department and the Chief of Police no later than January 15 of each calendar year, regarding: the date(s) of the exam; the city(ies) where the exam will be administered; the major categories to be covered by the exam; the bibliography of courses from which exam questions have been taken (e.g., name of textbooks, departmental policies, general orders, special orders, etc); and the passing score that must be attained. F. No later than February 1st of each calendar year, the University shall furnish to those eligible employees whose exam requests are on file, a copy of the "NOTICE OF PROMOTIONAL EXAM" issued by the Exam Administrator. Only those employees whose names are furnished to the Exam Administrator will be eligible to take the promotional exam. G. The University shall require the Exam Administrator to notify each employee who takes a promotional exam of the exam results. The exam results shall also be provided to the Chief of Police. H. When extraordinary circumstances make it necessary to give a promotional test at a time other than that originally established, employees shall be given adequate notice to prepare for such special exam.

Promotional Exam. On or before September 1st of each year the City will provide notice of promotional exams, list of references, and the type of testing process to be used (e.g., assessment center, written test, etc.), however labor and management may jointly agree to modify this notification when necessary.

The exam will be administered at least once every twelve (12) months unless mutually agreed upon by the parties. (b) Promotional examinations will be subject to the following provisions: 1. Only those employees who have been certified as a law enforcement officer pursuant to Chapter 943, Florida Statutes, shall be eligible for the Corporal’s exam. Officers must complete their initial probationary period before being promoted to Corporal. 2. Only those employees who have been certified as a law enforcement officer pursuant to Chapter 943, Florida Statutes, and who have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a law enforcement officer (XXX) at this, or any other department shall be eligible for the Sergeant’s exam. Officers must complete their initial probationary period before being promoted to Sergeant. (c) Beginning October 1, 2003 the rank/class of Investigator will be deleted by attrition. Detective will be an assignment. (d) Employees will be notified in writing if they are ineligible for the class(es) to which he/she applied for promotion. (e) When management chooses to give a promotion exam, employees shall be given adequate notice to prepare for such exam. The employee shall not be compensated for the time spent taking the promotional exam. If an employee is on-duty during the test administration, he/she can take the test on working time. (f) An employee must submit a request to take the promotional exam to the Chief or designee by the application deadline.

(ii) Licensee agrees that it will not administer the TAF Quad to humans, or sell the TAF Quad until Gilead has obtained marketing approval for the TAF Quad from the FDA. Licensee agrees that it will not administer EVG to humans, or sell Products containing EVG until Gilead has obtained marketing approval for an EVG Product from the FDA. Licensee agrees that it will not administer COBI to humans, or sell Products containing COBI until Gilead has obtained marketing approval for a COBI Product from the FDA. Licensee agrees that it will not administer TAF to humans, or sell Products containing TAF until Gilead has obtained marketing approval for a TAF Product from the FDA. If Gilead obtains marketing approval from the FDA for any Quad Product or a Combination Product containing TAF, COBI or EVG (“Approved Combination Product”) prior to obtaining marketing approval for a TAF Product, EVG Product or COBI Product from the FDA, then Licensee will be allowed to administer such Quad Product or such Approved Combination Product to humans, and sell such Quad Product or such Approved Combination Product from and after the date of such marketing approval from the FDA, but will not (A) administer to humans or sell Combination Products containing EVG other than such Quad Product or such Approved Combination Product until Gilead has obtained marketing approval from the FDA for an EVG Product, or (B) administer to humans or sell Combination Products containing COBI other than such Quad Product or such Approved Combination Product until Gilead has obtained marketing approval from the FDA for a COBI Product or (C) administer to humans or sell Combination Products containing TAF other than such Quad Product or such Approved Combination Product until Gilead has obtained marketing approval from the FDA for a TAF Product.

  • Program Overview Microsoft extends to eligible partners the opportunity to participate in the Program referenced above subject to these Program Terms & Conditions (“Program Terms”). Each entity participating in the Program is hereinafter referred to as a “Participant.” Participation in the Program is voluntary. The Program is governed by the Program Terms, which incorporate by reference the Microsoft Partner Network Agreement (as in effect between Microsoft and Participant, the “MPN Agreement”).   • Educational Program A. DSST PUBLIC SCHOOLS shall implement and maintain the following characteristics of its educational program in addition to those identified in the Network Contract at DSST XXXX MIDDLE SCHOOL (“the School” within Exhibit A-3).   • Marketing Plans Contractor and the Exchange recognize that Enrollees and other health care consumers benefit from efforts relating to outreach activities designed to increase heath awareness and encourage enrollment. The parties shall share marketing plans on an annual basis and with respect to periodic updates of material changes. The marketing plans of each of the Exchange and Contractor shall include proposed marketing approaches and channels and shall provide samples of any planned marketing materials and related collateral as well as planned, and when completed, expenses for the marketing budget. The Contractor shall include this information for both the Exchange and the outside individual market. The Exchange shall treat all marketing information provided under this Section as confidential information and the obligation of the Exchange to maintain confidentiality of this information shall survive termination or expiration of this Agreement.

  • Commercialization Reports Throughout the term of this Agreement and during the Sell-Off Period, and within thirty (30) days of December 31st of each year, Company will deliver to University written reports of Company’s and Sublicensees’ efforts and plans to develop and commercialize the innovations covered by the Licensed Rights and to make and sell Licensed Products. Company will have no obligation to prepare commercialization reports in years where (a) Company delivers to University a written Sales Report with active sales, and (b) Company has fulfilled all Performance Milestones. In relation to each of the Performance Milestones each commercialization report will include sufficient information to demonstrate achievement of those Performance Milestones and will set out timeframes and plans for achieving those Performance Milestones which have not yet been met.

  • Branding 5.2.1 Except as stated in Section 5.2.2 of this Attachment, in providing Verizon Telecommunications Services to CBB, Verizon shall have the right (but not the obligation) to identify the Verizon Telecommunications Services with Verizon’s trade names, trademarks and service marks (“Verizon Marks”), to the same extent that these Services are identified with Verizon’s Marks when they are provided to Verizon’s Customers. Any such identification of Verizon’s Telecommunications Services shall not constitute the grant of a license or other right to CBB to use Verizon’s Marks. 5.2.2 To the extent required by Applicable Law, upon request by CBB and at prices, terms and conditions to be negotiated by CBB and Verizon, Verizon shall provide Verizon Telecommunications Services for resale that are identified by CBB’s trade name, or that are not identified by trade name, trademark or service xxxx. 5.2.3 If Verizon uses a third-party contractor to provide Verizon operator services or Verizon directory assistance, CBB will be responsible for entering into a direct contractual arrangement with the third-party contractor at CBB’s expense (a) to obtain identification of Verizon operator services or Verizon directory assistance purchased by CBB for resale with CBB’s trade name, or (b) to obtain removal of Verizon Marks from Verizon operator services or Verizon directory assistance purchased by CBB for resale.
