Proration of Annual Vacation Entitlement a) ABSENCES DUE TO SICK LEAVE, LONG-TERM DISABILITY OR WORKERS' COMPENSATION INJURY. In any case where an accumulation of such absences exceed 6 calendar months in a calendar year, vacation entitlement for that year will be reduced by 1/6 for each full month of absence in excess of 6 months.

Annual vacation entitlement will not be reduced for absences due to the above reasons unless an employee who is absent for a period exceeding two (2) years for the above reason(s) is deemed totally disabled and does not return to work, except as provided below. In the year an employee resumes employment after an absence due to the above reasons of more than two (2) years, the annual vacation in the year of return will be prorated by one twelfth (1/12) for each month of absences in the year of return.

  • Annual Vacation Entitlement (a) An Employee shall be entitled to receive annual vacation leave with pay:

  • Vacation Entitlement i) A transferring employee will accrue vacation in accordance with the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Payment of Annual Leave (a) If an employee takes annual leave during a period, the annual leave shall be paid at the employee’s ordinary pay immediately before the period begins.

  • Vacation Entitlements In case of discharge or resignation, the employee shall receive all vacation entitlements and salary due to the date of termination, except as provided in Articles 33.05 and 33.07.

  • Annual Vacation Pay Vacation pay shall be paid at the regular hourly rate of the Nurse in effect immediately prior to the Nurse taking vacation.
