Protective Footwear/Clothing Issues. 27.2.1 Items will be supplied as soon as is practicable upon commencement, thereafter, they will be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis: ❑ Footwear- one pair replaced at least annually ❑ Shirts – four (4) nomex or similar substitute ❑ Pants or overalls – four (4) nomex or similar substitute ❑ Jacket or jumper – each full time employee will be provided with a jacket or jumper in accordance with past practice.

Protective Footwear/Clothing Issues. 24.2.1 Weekly Employees Items will be supplied as soon as is practicable upon commencement, thereafter, they will be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis: ❑ Footwear- one pair of safety boots issued or alternatively the employee will be reimbursed (on production of a receipt), the cost of a pair of safety boots approved by the employer‌ ❑ Overalls – three (3) pair overalls that comply with client and legislative standards. The employee may elect to be issued with a shirt and pants in lieu of one pair of overalls ❑ Jumper ❑ Bluey Jacket will be provided during the period 1 March and 31 October ❑ Work Socks – five pair equivalent to “explorer standard” replaced annually (not replaced on fair wear and tear)‌
Protective Footwear/Clothing Issues. 29.2.1 Subject to the terms of this clause, the following protective items will upon commencement of employment be supplied as a minimum issue and will be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis:
Protective Footwear/Clothing Issues. One pair of safety steel capped boots (max value $120) will be issued only on receipt of the boots which are to be replaced. One set of protective clothing will be issued each year and this clothing will be: 5 pairs of overalls or‌‌ 5 pairs of trousers + 5 shirts or a combination of the above‌ One Jacket (“Bluey”) will be supplied to all employees every 24 months. It will be the employee’s responsibility to maintain and launder the items supplied. The employees salary considers any expense incurred in the laundry of safety clothing.‌‌ Should an employee leave or be terminated, then both the boots and clothing must be handed in to the company. Failure to do this will result in the Company deducting the pro-rata cost of same from the final pay.‌

  • Protective Clothing 14.1 The Employer will be required to provide the following protective equipment (SAA approved) for use, when necessary, by employees during the performance of their required duties:

  • Protective Clothing and Equipment (a) The Employer shall provide and pay for all reasonable protective devices, clothing and other equipment necessary to properly protect Employees from injury and unhealthy conditions in the performance of their work. The Employer shall make provisions for the proper cleaning and maintenance of all safety equipment, devices and clothing at no cost to the Employees. The Employer shall make available to Employees an updated copy of applicable Health and Safety Legislation, Regulations, Policies and Standards including, but not limited to:

  • Footwear Where an employee is required by the College or by legislation, in order to perform his/her duties, to acquire and wear protective footwear, the employee shall provide the College with proof of purchase by March 1 each year and the College shall reimburse such employee, on the first pay day in April in each year, up to a maximum of one hundred and fifty dollar ($150.00). In situations other than the foregoing, the College may, in its discretion, (which discretion shall not be unreasonably exercised) reimburse such expense where it is recommended by the health and safety committee constituted under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

  • Uniforms and Protective Clothing 28.1 Where the employer requires an employee to wear a uniform, it shall be provided free of charge, but shall remain the property of the employer.
