Public Noticing. The City Council agenda is advertised on Channel 26, and the agenda and this Council report appear on the City’s website. The interested parties email list was also notified of this item.
Public Noticing. Prior to start of grading, OWNER shall provide notification to all residences on Xxxxx Xxxxxxx Avenue between East Xxxxxx Road and 500 feet south of Farmers Central Drive of commencement of construction. Notification shall, at a minimum, disclose the future presence of construction traffic and the barrier removal and signal construction at East Xxxxxx Road and Xxxxx Xxxxxxx Avenue. Notification shall be not less than seven or more than fourteen days in advance of construction. OWNER shall provide proof of notification to the City.
Public Noticing. The City will prepare a project general information letter and other construction notices for the Contractor’s distribution. The Contractor shall be responsible for duplicating and the delivery of the informational letters to all properties within the project that may be directly affected by the project. Distribution of the notices shall be done by the U. S. Postal Service (USPS) or hand delivered. The costs of duplication, address listing and confirmation of address lists, mailings, re-mailings and re-distributions of notices (where required) are included in the cost of this project. The following additional noticing are required:
1. Delivery of the first notification titled “Notice of Proposed Work” shall be completed least two (2) weeks prior to the beginning of all construction operations within each zone, as identified in the Sidewalk Repairs List. Delivery shall be by USPS mail to the on-site occupants of each impacted property within that zone. City will provide mailing list to Contractor .
2. A second and different “Three-Day Notice of Proposed Work” shall be hand delivered to the on-site occupants of each impacted property by the Contractor at least three (3) calendar days prior to the start of work adjacent to the impacted property.
3. In addition to the above, the Contractor shall be fully responsible for all required notifications, which are related to utility interruptions, closures of streets, alleys, driveways, etc., or any unavoidable disruptions for access and/or any parking restrictions that are caused by the work.
4. Contractor shall be fully responsible for the hand delivery of notifications to the affected residents and businesses of construction cancellation (before or same day as the job was ready to commence), and to re notify all-residents and businesses affected by any delay about a new date of construction.
5. Special consideration shall be given to multi-family residential structures and highrise office buildings. The Contractor shall post placards approved by the City on the front and back doors, next to the elevators and/or mail boxes of these aforementioned structures.
6. Should the notification require those affected to park overnight on City streets, the Contractor shall notify the Contract Officer a minimum of seven (7) calendar days in advance of notification issuance so arrangements can be made through the Police Department to temporarily suspend overnight parking restrictions and street sweeping restrictions in the affe...
Public Noticing. The Consultant will prepare and carry out the appropriate public noticing and required consultations and notifications per local and State regulations. Consultant shall coordinate with City staff to allow for adequate review and oversight of noticing materials and activities. In addition, the consultant is expected to carry out appropriate tribal noticing and consultation in accordance with statutory timelines.
Public Noticing. The Santa Xxxxx County Planning Office provides public notice at least ten days in advance of a public hearing by the Planning Commission, Architectural and Site Approval Committee or Zoning Administrator on all Stanford applications in the following manner:
a. A notice of public hearing is mailed to the applicant, the property owner, owners of all real property and owners of buildings on Stanford leaseholds within 300 feet of the exterior boundaries of the real property (assessor's parcel number) on which the property is situated.
b. A notice of public hearing for each agenda item is published in a newspaper of local circulation (San Xxxx Post-Record).
c. A copy of the agenda is mailed to a list maintained by the County Planning Office of interested individuals, organizations and jurisdictions. This list is updated annually and as needed by County and Stanford Planning Office staff, and includes interested parties such as the planning directors of adjacent cities, the Stanford Campus Residential Leaseholders, Inc., environmental groups such as the Sierra Club, and the editors of local newspapers such as the Palo Alto Weekly.
d. A display ad is run in the Palo Alto Weekly. The ad is prepared and submitted by the County and billed to Stanford University. This procedure is limited to a new application for which an environmental assessment has been prepared.
Public Noticing. Xxxxx will work in collaboration with City staff to prepare required notices and advertisements for public meetings, including the two Planning Commission and two City Council adoption hearings. As noted under Task 4, he will work with the City’s environmental consultant to do SB 18/ AB 52 tribal consultation. It is presumed that the City itself will handle printing and mailing of notices, and placement of advertisements. Xxxxx can prepare the contents of these notices, but the City itself would do the actual filing, following accepted City protocol and requirements.
