Reimbursement for Union Leave. Where employees are on Union Leave approved by the Employer, the Employer agrees to pay the employee for their regularly scheduled hours. The Union agrees to reimburse the Employer fully for these costs upon receipt of an invoice from the Employer.

Reimbursement for Union Leave. With respect to any leave of absence granted without pay for the purpose of performing duties as an officer of the Union or any affiliated body, the Employer shall maintain the Employee’s salary and benefits for the period of the leave of absence, and shall invoice the Union for the cost of salary and benefits. The Union shall reimburse the Employer within thirty (30) days for the cost of salary and benefits assigned to the leave. Where the leave of absence is for a duration of five (5) or fewer continuous days, the Employer shall bill the Union for wages only.

Labour Management Committee Where there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour Management Committee, a meeting may be requested by either party. An equal number of representatives of each party as mutually agreed shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. A request for such meetingwill be made in writing at lease one (1) week prior to the date proposed and accompanied by an agenda of matters proposed to be discussed, which shall not include matters that are properly the subject of a grievance or matters that are properly the subject of negotiations for the amendment of this agreement. The Committee shall have the authorityto bring forward recommendations to the Union and/or the employer.
Reimbursement for Union Leave. The Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for the costs of replacing the employee on Union leave under this Article. Such costs will be reimbursed by the Union within one (1) month of receipt of the Employer’s invoice.
